ROM 2.1 messaging issue

[ksparrotdad]

Last week I updated my ROM from 1.5 to 2.1, like many other people did. Now (and this is random, doesn't happen all of the time) when I get a text message (I have new message indicator show up in the notification area) sometimes when I go into messages it isn't there, although it originally showed up in the notification area. Has anyone else been experiencing this??? I never had this happen on ROM 1.5. Any suggestions?????? Thanks!!

I've noticed something weird with my message notifications, too. But it's a little different. I have the Messages shortcut on my home screen. When I get a new message a little green circle shows up on the envelope with the number 1. The green circle used to clear away as soon as I went and read the new message. After the 2.1 update the circle stays there about half the time.

I don't think any of my messages are going missing, but there is some general messaging app funkiness.
