Hello all! Here it is Broken Out Rom for the LG Esteem!!! It has been fully cleaned out to decrease size and to increase speed. It will continue to be a work in progress! I hope you all enjoy!!!

What is this?
This is a very lightweight rom built both for speed and stability. This rom is based off of the latest LG update to Gingerbread 2.3.4 version ZVD. It is fully deodexed, and debloated. Almost all of LG has been replaced and as time goes by, I hope to remove the rest. Swype has also been changed to the newest Beta. A few items have been replaced with AOSP versions to increase speed and decrease size. Also included is the appwidgetpicker to clean that up.

How do I install this?
1.) Download the .zip & make sure 4g is enabled.
2.) Place zip in external sdcard
3.) Back up
4.) WIPE DATA!!! (You do not need to wipe if already on BrokenOut!)
5.) Go to install zip from sdcard
6.) Select BrokenOutEsteem1.0.zip
7.) Do not wipe data after flashing!!!
8.) Reboot!
9.) To Block CIQ Logs Requires Reboot After Initial Boot

awesome! thanks. but one question my 4g icon is stock and not like yours in the screenshot. any idea why? not really a big deal just weird i guess. by the way i love the aosp lockscreen!

The screenshots are from the LG Revolution. They are different lol.
 
darn ok thats cool i was kinda hoping for that icon. o well still seems like an awesome rom so far tho. only been running it for an hour tho. lol

Just making sure but V6 Supercharger isn't in this, is it? I dont want to spend the time messing with it if it already is HaHa and also what about the responsiveness tweak? Just want to make sure no information was forgetton when OP was made.

I also included a different method of setting cpu speeds and governors in the init.d scripts. There are 3 files in /system/etc/init.d folder. 1 for governor, 1 for CPU min and 1 for CPU max. Open the file with a text editor and remove the # from the speed our governor that you want. Upon reboot it will set that speed. Just make sure it is a speed your phone can handle first. The only way to fix if it causes constant reboots is to reddish the rom. I also fixed it that CPU speeds and governors can be set on boot.

After looking into v6 more in depth, a lot of the tweaks I already had in my init.d scripts. Also having it can open up some security vulnerabilities. So no I didn't include v6 but I have most of the same types of tweaks included. I took a bit of time with the tweaks on my revolution to maximize speed and stability and maintain good battery. Responsiveness tweak is, its just not that big of a deal so I didn't include it in the OP lol.
 
Oh no no no it isn't a big deal. Am just trying to get to the 5000 score mark on AnTuTu. What's the highest recorded on the Revo(Just REALLY Quick)?

Not sure lol. My highest was about 4600 but there are some differences with the esteem and revo. The esteem should be faster.
 
I don't have ZVC but I flashed this to see how it looked like lol looks great food job bro. Now I flashed back to LD-LG ZVC. I like the screenshot option

Some esteems can take it and others can't. And I flashed this on my esteem while I was on ZVC and I must say it is really nice. Good job Mt! Kiu. Now I restored my back up LD- LG ZVC lol
 
Have had reboot at 2000MHz while running AnTuTu when it tried reading SD Read/Write speeds. I have also head decent reboots when just playing around but I have also flashed the ICK theme so this may be the problem also. Am messing around with installs now.
