Are you on the current radios? Also check to make sure the battery cover is on the phone fully as well.
 
Go to settings, about phone and look at basebands compare to these

You need to be on at least MR2. I recommend the 3rd GB leak honestly.

If you are getting signal it is unlikely the radios are the issue but it is the easiest thing to check and fix ;)
 
I am not getting a signal. But i also do not have basebands under settings about phone either. ??

my baseband version is MR1 how do i update it ?? thanks
 
You will need to download the radio, rename it PG05IMG.zip (that is a zero not an O) place it on the root of your SD and boot into hboot, power off and hold volume down while powering back on.
 
I am very new to the rooting community, but I took the plunge about a week ago. I have tried various roms (many per day) and I am convinced that liquid's ginger sense 1.6 is the smoothest of them all. Updating to the mr2 radio has also given me a stronger cell signal. Battery use is fantastic as compared to stock, and the minor glitch of f/c with camera and google talk was a relatively easy fix. I am intent on sticking with this rom. Thanks to the dev!
 
Ive tried all of the radios and none of them give me any signal on my rooted Tbolt only one that works is MR1 and i cant use that one and use this ROM
 
Do you have the battery door on the phone fully?

What are your settings for wireless and network set to? do you have mobile data enabled?
