Root [ROM]A85+ {beta}v1.8

here i present my first rom for micromax a85(beta testers needed for it)
nano added
bash added
added app2sd support
ADW 1.3.6 default launcher(android default launcher removed)
removed all mmx crap except some useful apps like gesture control and 2-3 others
rooted
added busybox
zipaligned
better ram optimization :)
added data/app/ functionality
added busy box run parts support(scripts can be added)
MIUI apps (some of them like music.apk)
default boot animation cos' it looked nice :P
added titanium backup
added system tuner pro
added quadrant standard
added k9 and some other nice apps
MIUI fonts
flash it using CWM recovery wipe data/factory set clear cache,dalvik cache,format system and data :) have a nice day

A85+ v2.3 soon :)
with some nice scripts like varun's megascript,etc
and you can get from its name it is based on android 2.3
(v1.8 is based on 2.2)
 
yep i did alot hard work and then what i found was that i posted it in a70's place
now tell me how to move it or do it on your on
 
Dude work on 2.3.............when we have a rom 2.3.4 why dont you update something on that............

Then only people will try........See the forum no one is active after USSD error is solved

I think,
It is highly possible to port ICS fro A85 caz of its very popular processor :p

But one thing is for sure ...
You won't have a working camera and 100% sure tha t gesture stuff :p caz none of other devices have it :D

I think, there is a very high probability for ICS :) ...
 
Dont worry guys,

The best benefit is that we have K-Touch w 700 -- so chinese guys will work on that...

and as cherry has updated to gingerbread they would do if its possible for A85...

So Chillax.....The only thing that people need now for A85 is any rom with 20-30% battery tweak....Then only people will try....

So guys working on custom rom..make sure you have something to work like this..

hello friend i read about ur rom n im very much interested in this rom has it contains most of things i wanted, like gesture etc, but i would b happy if u include that game came bundled with the strock rom, but m unable to install it i get error e: error in /sdcard/A85+.zip (status 0) installation aborted plz help

i tried but unable to install i m ready to be a tester i have a85 so always ready to help but currently i need help installing this rom coz i wanted gesture which this rom has so in i think its perfect rom for a person like me, if some one would include the bundled games with came with phone m new here came from xda coz they dont have roms for my a85, hope to have gread time here to like on xda still nice work u r doing guys thanks

Hi samsouyma,

Dont be disheartened.. This is just a start for you.
You are learning stuff, consider this as a Alpha work, for you will come up with a great ROM one day.
