Never used Dolphin but just tried, and no, Hulu still doesn't work. It seems like anytime there's an exploit (Skyfire, 2.2 etc) they shut it down quickly. :(

I always use a pattern or PIN lock...is there a way to avoid having the simple lock screen show up before the PIN lock screen?

Annoying to have to swipe across first on the lock screen and then enter my PIN. On 5.0.7.1 and other ROMs once a pattern or PIN lock was set, the normal lock screen didn't come up any more....
 
Hmmm...I'm getting repeated lockups/freezing. Just now used News widget and tapped on a story - browser opens and stops after a second or two and sits there with the progress bar barely started. 3G signal very strong.

Want to like/use this ROM (has a setting to increase the font size in email!) but not very stable for me so far. Have done a number of battery pulls/reboots.

Another lock up, just trying to look at an email. Oh well, I guess not for me. I had done a factory reset, wiped system/data/cache repeated again in Clockwork recovery, but I guess I'll wait and try Birdman's version later today...going back to my 5.0.7.1 nandroid now. :(

IIRC, @koush said he wouldn't release a 2.2 Droid rom until there was an official rom available. Said it wasn't worth releasing a hacked, broken rom.

Not sure if that means you have/haven't tried it, but I've restored my call log and sms/mms/etc through TiBu just fine.

That's about all the system data I've loaded. I let Market dl the rest of my apps for me and then went to TiBu to restore app data as needed. This is running great now!

Also I came from CM 5.0.7.1 and just did a regular restore without wiping first. If I'm not mistaken, the restore function does this on it's own - you can see it when it's restoring.
 
Alright - I need some of you seasoned vets to do a breakdown on this ROM. What are the cons? Does GPS work? Navigation? BT? How's it running compared to NexBeast? I don't really have the time to screw w/ it right now, but I'm seriously tempted to load it up.

Speaking of BT, does the BT voice dialing work on this ROM?? If that works, I'm loading it up immediately.
 
I played around a bit and went back to Nex v1.1
I will wait until things are more streamlined (of course I say this now...)

edit - see, I missed the P3 kernel post, now I am reloading and testing the kernel.

Well, has anyone had troubles getting into Clockwork? I can't seem to backup or install the new kernel. Everytime I try to do either it just reboots and never gets into recovery? This is a little troubling if I need to restore a ROM.
Just tried the manual way and it just boots, doesn't even go into the "pre-recovery" recovery. I'll try flashing SPR and see what happens.

Edit: Just flashed Clockwork again. I guess it didn't flash the first time? :o Got into recovery. That was a close one.
 
This rom for spr broke my root! Also, I can't seem to get flash into full screen, any ideas?

I was deceived, I actually didn't go to Mammoth Caves today, that's tomorrow. I just got back from Natural Bridge, KY. Hopefully this framework is themeable ;)

Yeah, as long as you really need a theme (which I love JRummy's), I think this beta (or alpha?) if you will is pretty sweet. Missing some Cyanogen tweaks, but hopefully they're in the works.
Just finished loading up the 1.2Ghz. Probably one of my fasted boot times I can remember.
Bench's: 170-180 ms
MFLOPS: Pretty consistently around 18!
Can't wait to see what the devs do with this one :)
And, um, Quandrant test yielded a 1415, the highest on the scale :eek:
