Root [ROM] Android 2.2 FroYo - Brought to you by MDW (OC & Flash 10.1!)

Froyo dump for DROID does not have it in the build thus far - but Barnacle and Wireless Tether apps from market are reported to be working.
 
So i tried this, and now my phone won't boot up. All i get is the word "android" on the screen like it's trying to boot but nothing happens.

I hope I didn't brick it...:(

Same thing happened with my phone i tried installing last night. (Same thing tends to happen when i try to load any rom on the thing)

All i did was go back into recovery and did a restore. I then updated to stock 2.1 . I'll try again this weekend and hopefully get rooting working and then try froya.

Yes, I saw your post above and omj's response.

After doing a wipe, it rebooted to 2.2 and I must say 2.2 is amazing! It's the kind of improvement I was hoping to see when I got 2.1....and I haven't even downloaded the flash apk yet!

This was my first time rooting, so I was scared for a second....
 
Is anyone else getting frequent system reboots with this release? In 2 hours last night, my phone rebooted itself twice. So far today, at least 3 reboots in 5 hours.

I'm using the non-FRF57, overclocked to 1.0.
