Root rom apps

Nearly finished creating my rom just a few questions

1. Will i put launcher or launcherpro in, i prefer pro but just want to no how the majority feel.
2. Is there an alternative to google home?
3. What stock apps should i remove?
 
Well, do you ever use the android Launcher? I take mine out, but if your launcherpro ever fails, you then have NO LAUNCHER!
 
Sorry i dont understand maybe i should rephrase ill keep the default sense launcher, i was just wondering wats the most used launcher to include as an alternative launcher home, adw, launcher pro ect i wasnt meaning just having one launcher cheers
 
Oh I see, its a sense rom. Personally I use launcherpro. Launcher (android stock launcher) is about as unconfigurable as sense.

I would just keep it stock and let people download the additional ones they want from the market.
 
Cool cheers guys ill hopefully be finished by sunday i will need a few testers if any experienced flashaholics are interested hard to notice bugs yourself.
 
Quite a big step going from barely knowing how to root to releasing your own ROM - I've been rooted on and off since May (or whenever the first rooting method was found) and although I make my own I'd never release them. Would get sick of people asking me to add this, remove that, update it, etc...

Then you have to look into kernels, modules, scripts, etc...it's not as simple as taking a ROM and remove a few apps. Doesn't take long to get your head around but I'd stick to running it yourself until you're confident that 1. it works, and 2. people will want it - baring in mind almost all ROMs are essentially the same bar a few custom wallpapers/themes
 
Like Eviollet said about himself, its the same for me...

I don't think I could bring anything to the table that experienced developers haven't already or that flashers would want. Its just pointless unless you have some ground breaking scripts that no one else has got yet.
 
Cool guys cheers i wasnt releasin on xda sorry shud hav said that just for a few members of a site i use who wanted a rom dedicated to site thanks guys for ure input
