Root [ROM](ChevyNo1) Simple Stunning 4.9

Hey guys, I know this doesn't belong here, but I'm gonna ask anyway... Running SS4.9 and just realized that I can't send or receive picture messages... I'm sure it's not the ROM, but hopes someone would throw me a bone and have an easy fix??? Thanks guys.

Maybe try wiping data of the messaging app and then power off right after and do a battery pull. Also try *228 option 1. Just tossing ideas here don't know if these will fix it.
Btw, do you get any message or anything?

I can message just fine, just can't send or receive pictures... using Handcent, not sure it that matters... Very annoying...

I'm in agreement as well. I've been running stock OC'd for the last 3 weeks because I had issues with UD, LFY, CM and just got tired of dealing with it.

I finally decided to give this one a shot yesterday and am completely loving it. Absolutely no problems whatsoever and love the look of it. Not sure why there isn't more hype.

Great ROM and I'll be helping him buy some beer.

I loved this rom but just couldn't deal with the long screen redraw times. So I went to LFY1.9 that has 0 issue with this. Has this latest version of SS solved the screen delay or is this still a big problem?

I have no delays or withdraws, although I have never really had that with any rom.

I'm using LP and not experiencing any longer or more redraws than I would normally with other ROM's. Never used the stock browser so I can't attest to that.

Still loving this ROM. Have had zero issues with it, I'll be sticking with this one for a while.

Flashed this rom and the screen redraw delay is gone so far. Really like all the options provided stock with the rom that others dont provide....LED color select, Changing the Verizon Wireless title and the bot animation changer...good deal so far.

I fI get better battery life than LFY1.9 I will stick with this until the next LFY. (yes I know 1.95 is available but im talking about LFY2)

lfy 1.9 worked well with my battery (though not as well as ss 4.9) but lfy 1.95 chewed through it! i even tried my trusted chevy ulv 1.1 with no better results.

With lfy 1.9 I was using 1.5 to 2 batts a day. Was pretty damn bad but I really didnt mind cause I have 2 batts.

Hit the menu button to get into the settings, and then you should be given to option of which setting you want to go to. Select Chevy1tools.

still nothing. it just takes me to the regular settings menu without a prompt to pick which one.

exactly the same here i run at 800MHz! it is extremely fast and i am getting ridiculously good battery life

I am having a couple of issues with this ROM. I am using LP as my homescreen and it used to be really fast but now its lagging. sometimes it takes FOREVER to load my app drawer. Also, when I finish recording a video, for some reason it not save it and it will freeze my phone. should I reflash the ROM? any ideas?

side note: I am using the stock kernel, NO SETCPU and I probably have around 100 apps installed (most of them in my SD)

Update: I reflash the ROM (no theme) and I deleted the other launchers now, everything is fine...however, sometimes my apps do not install and some are missing so by doing a battery pull..goes back to normal... weird!!!

Does anyone know why the ROM list for chevyno1 does not download in rom manager anymore (since 4.7)...used to work. Been using it since 4.2.
If not where can i download 4.9 on here or internet?

you can go to Simply Stunning Android to get any of chevy's stuff. The reason it is not in rom manager according to ssandroid is due to an error on rom managers side. Several other ROM's are having that same issue.

His website is suspended by the hosting service. You cant get 4.9 anywhere, I've been looking all night, even Rom Manager can't find it.

Does anyone have a place to download it?
