Root [ROM] CM 10.1 preview

That's been coming up in discussions for some time. I think I'll take a look at it soon.

Cool. lemme know if you need another dump with the 2 sections that needed root (i didnt reset after enabling them so they didnt grab any data).

It's WiFi trying to connect. The drain in the new AOKP seems a bit higher than the old version. I don't believe the wlan connection/search is any more caustic in this new version.

That's my thoughts too unless you could say that wlan is trying every few seconds and is just bombarding the phone with requests. I think there is something more

I don't know. Usually I tweak my WiFi scan interval to be at least 2-3 minutes apart. To prevent any significant drain from the scanning.

Sent from my VS920 4G using Tapatalk 2

It's odd to see that kind of drain from wifi. I don't see it drain nearly as bad, so I wonder if it's the router losing connectivity?

I tried tdm's latest AOKP last night. The version from Feb 25.

Just wanted to let you know that Bluetooth did the same thing as CM 10.1 Pre 4. It let me connect my headset on the first boot, and it worked for a short period of time, and then bt on the phone shut off on it's own and I could not turn it back on. After each reboot it looks like bt is on and then immediately shuts off and you can not do anything with. I do a data wipe/factory reset in between each install as well as wipe cache and dalvik.

I'm back on CM 10.1 beta 4 for the time being :) but I did grab a logcat while I was trying to get AOKP 42 woring if your intersted pm me as it is 264kb and I will send you the link. ;)

just post the log to pastebin.com and then post the link here in the thread.

this has been a common issue on cm10 and the other cm10.1 ... when off and charging it wont turn on... quickest way to get it on is unplug it pull the battery for a second... pop it back in and power it on... after it vibrates you can plug it back in

I get the same problem with my stock ZV7, rooted w/CWM recovery.

As in ICS the MS Exchange client/Accounts is/are still broken again; it was fixed in the later Android V2 releases. Seems it doesn't like the idea the userid and e-mail addy can be different. Guess I'll have to buy one of those expensive clients and be done with it.

The built in wifi tether works well with at least one device attached, so Verizon looses $30 a month :)

I installed the new Xperia 1.3.7c launcher and Swift Key, both which work well.

Settings seems pretty well dumbed down. Anybody know how to set the application debugging mode and screen always on when charging?

I have an exchange account set up with an email address that is different than the username. Never had any problems with it on V7, CM10, or CM10.1.

Screen always on is under developer options from the system settings menu.

.

Same here. Along with cm9 and all the aokp. Moxier Mail is the client I use FWIW.
