Root [rom] cm 7.02 - stable!

after loading a ROM, it take a few minutes on the loading screen the first time. how long did you let it go?
 
This rom is still losing connection after I make phone calls. Have do do the airplane mode trick to get it back. Bummer since it's such a great rom.
 
I left CM due to it being unstable. GB is just a tough rom to run on the D1 with its lack of internal memory. Just could never get it to run stable enough for everyday use. Went back to Froyo and waiting anxiously for a new,fast,sleek dual core HDMI out DNLA enabled 1 gig internal working camera beast! Whatever it may be by the end of July....
 
This ROM has actually been the best GB ROM for my D1 out of all that I've tried. 3G is coming back after phone calls like it's supposed to. I've only had 1 random reboot so far. And I've had one episode where, when making phone calls, the caller on the other end couldn't hear me. Rebooting seems to have fixed that.

I'm using the stock kernel that came w/ the ROM @ 800Mhz. Did a full wipe before installing, including individual boot / system wipes in CWM Recovery menu.

In case anyone cares or doesn't know, the latest CM 7 nightlies have fixed the exchange sync problem. Also the USB Mass Storage feature has also been fixed. However, I think the USB storage fix was a kernel fix that is in the new ChevyNo1 Kernels he released on 5/31 based on comments I saw earlier about why usb connections to the PC wasn't working.

I'm back to CM 7 now. Exhange has been running for 2 days without sync stopping. I'm psyched cuz now I can hold out longer till a good 4G phone with Ginberbread comes out.

Ironically, since the exchange sync problem won't be fixed til a later release than 2.3.4 in the google code, the phone I get will also have to be rootable and have CM7 support so I can not have the exchange problem on the new phone. lol.
