Put your X in airplane mode. Then turn on WIFI. It works for some people. For some people the router has to be set on G instead of N. And for some people it only works on WPA2. But generally its either one of or a combination of these things.

Bear in mind it's just the browser that has lag right now. So once they get the flash issue taken care of you should be GTG.

No, my whole phone lagged to some degree. If it was just the web, that would be one thing.

After a long and trying day, (I've learned now to check md5 sums and have a fully charged battery before bootloader mode) I have made the switch to CM9 3/19. I love the functioning camera though I haven't tried video recording or panorama but I think I read that part is still nonfunctional. The rom is snappy on my DX. Battery life is yet to be determined but it seems good so far.

I actually had to go to my local verizon store and borrow a DX2 battery to sbf my phone in-store. The looks and questions I got from the sales reps huddled around my laptop in the corner was priceless. My gratitude goes out to them though for letting me do that in their store.

It's just good to see that this old device is still getting some attention from devs. I'm looking forward to whatever progress is made on this rom.

I was reading in another post, as updates come out, you don't have to reflash the whole rom again.. is that right? Do I just go into recovery and install this zip?

I believe you just have to wipe cache but not data and then flash.

I didnt do much with this build as I was busy with Gummy however, Jonman has done alot.

Things I've noticed:​

• Battery stats work
• camcorder starts but freezes when start to record then dies when stop
• Panorama switches to it now but freezes on whatever the camera was pointing at when swapped to that mode
• MMS should be fixed
• split texts over 160 chars option is back
• redid the 1% method in a way that should help with the jumps
• added a few performance tweaks that I had included in Gummy​
  • sysctl
  • lock home in memory
  • kernel tweaks (and completely overhauled and improved it)

Had a few reports of problems caused flashing over an older build but at the same time there have been others saying cache wipes were enough. Seems rather hit or miss. So if you run into problems wipe cache and that should fix them.​
