Root [ROM][CM9 KANG][Alpha] Updated 3.5.5---6/27/12

This is one cool looking kernel bro. Nice work! Your making me want to try your CM9 now ;) I will admit I have been eyeballing this for some time now. I gave the original alpha a try and it was very unstable (at least for me).

Your take on it though seems to be going along nicely. Once again nice work :)

Hey Johnny when i added the lib files and etc i was able to boot into the home screen but was getting force close on apex,setting,usb storage,etc .Also i have read that librs.so isnt compatible with armv6?Would that be the reason why I get the FC's?

hold off untill tonight..im going to update the zip..sense we were able to get ICS reloaded working..way more customizable now..

not sure bro..when i added the files i boot looped so you got further then me..not exactly sure what would cause the force close issue with some apps
 
As of right now.we added more customization with ics reloaded and are currently trying to install armv6 so we can get good video playback,and full hw acceleration:banghead:
 
Ok. I went into the lib files and deleted the soft rendering from the egl folder. Endes up deletig android.so something and modified anotyer file and video was working fine tru quick pic hmu if interested in exact details

No seriously, you've been do well on this thing. Also, for the ones that have been griping :musicus:, I'd like to see them do what you've done. Fact is , they can't or they would have already done it. People need to remember that bro. Some of this stuff isn't easy at all.;)

I'm tempted to flash this sucker for real. I may get it done this weekend just to see how it runs bro. We'll see, if not this weekend then next week. Gotta study:thumbup:..... mid-terms on Monday/Wed. OUCH!:afraid:

I tried to drop in the Arm 6 drivesr and the phone went crazy.... it would boot but then fc fc fc fc fc... it coulndt even bring up the launcher... did you guys drop in the whole folder or just the yamamoto files?

I got the same results.I booted to home and got ransacked with fc.what is the libRS.so.guess its not compatible with armv6
