Root ROM comparison chart?

Seanette

Is there anywhere to be found a chart of the various features of different ROMs, including details like battery life and system performance? I'm at this point very seriously considering moving to one of the Gingerbread ROMs, and would like some reasonably straightforward way to compare my choices. :)

I've already ruled out any of the ICS ROMs, because I do use my camera a good deal, so need that working. I don't use HDMI on my phone, so whether that's working or not doesn't matter to me.

No there isn't, sorry.

Each ROM has a list of features and all that in the ROM thread (at least it should! ;)). That's probably the best thing I can tell you to look at.

you can start looking here

just about every rom is listed there and clicking will bring you right to there pages so you can see whats working and not working

since u want camera and gingerbread is where your leaning

CM7 TG-Reloaded
CM7-G60 style
Miui

These 3 are the most popular and i believe stable, so they'll probly be your top contenders

altho dont be scared to look around at some of the other things, devs on here are still working to make this phone better, and ICS roms are making big jumps latley

What I did was just try each one. That's really the only you can determine which one is for you. Make sure to make a nandroid back up. Nothing more frustrating than having to redownload and set up a ROM that you had already set up before.

The gingerbread ROM I'm currently using is CM7 g60 r04.

Any idea which of the three has best battery life? :)

I'll very likely give ICS a try once there's a ROM with a working camera :).

Well, I need to start somewhere, so I guess I'll take the plunge with CM7 Reloaded (that being the most frequent one I'm seeing so far in this thread). I'm reminding myself that I'm not going to do anything here that can't be reversed. :)

Very glad there are so many people around here who know a lot more than I do. :)
