thats cool too. ive used it for awhile and loved it also.
Since the camera was fixed for the MIUI rom for the Admire, could we pull the .apk and overwrite that camera and push it to /system/app with a root browser, or would this not work at all. I tried downloading burst camera and nemus camera but those woudnt work, and before I could use the wonderful Camera360 Ultimate App, but that one too didn't work when I tried it. I'm not complaining like ^^^^ but I was just asking for some advice on how to get any camera app working, but if not, then I am perfectly fine with my Monster 5.2 by Boraichee

Last week (and last night) when I was writing my monster post, I was thinking why dont someone once a beta is released create a reply (as first post) which will be used to list all known bugs and how tos. This is continually updated from subsequent posts (no reply), they would have to be tested though. This page seemed to be full of people asking the same questions and reporting the same problems. Before posting everyone should read the how tos and bugs before posting on these issues. Also we dont need posts saying how great things are, thankyous and any other irrelvant info. Only bugs, technical discussion and how tos/ solutions.
Maybe someone like babyjesus could do this as he spends so much time here tinkering with things.

Great idea. I've done this myself on all my rom releases. Post #2 reserved for known bugs and changelog.
i already got a gig, and the op is more than likely not coming back, so its up to others in the community to either finish this or to make something new

Standalone GPS does not work on this rom. The GPS server has been removed and there are no drivers to my knowledge. If you have a fix then please post it for flashing
the phones internal gps, which receives its data from satellites, doesnt work.
what does work is gps over a data connection like wifi/3g/evdo, which gets you locations based off cell towers..which is why its never as close a lock as if by satellite.
i also strongly beleive that the lack of data and gps functionality is due to the baseband version. our stock modem isnt playing well with this version of cm7.
im going to dive back into this rom big time in the next night or two, and ask other devs that have succesfully ported cm7 to their devices for some help.
thats great..so do i, so before you try to argue about something you dont clearly understand, try doing a logcat, or try looking a few pages back at the other 2 logcats posted that show gps errors on 2 other phones.
just because you have SATELLITE GPS on, doesnt mean its using one to lock on to your position, you can still get a position lock even with 1x, but it is super slow.
as far as data, do a speedtest with stock, then do one with cm7, then let me know your results. data does work, but its not working properly.
ive been testing out bugs and issues with this rom since day one. is anyone else doing it? no.
ive been spending my freetime learning everything i need to try to pick up where req left off because i wanted this community to have as close to a working cyanogenmod rom as possible. you want to give me attitude because you just got here, thats cool too.
so with what you said i guess i wont try and trouble shoot these problems for other people, and i guess im just wasting my time.

Compared to stock my data on CM7 feels a little more slower..
