MMS and 3G work fine, camera and a Market glitch are the only major things not working. Reformat EVERYTHING, reflash according to the guide in the OP, and on first boot, let it sit for about 15-20 min before doing anything, then toggle airplane mode and everything will work fine.
 
I have no idea why people are having trouble with Youtube, the Google Play Store, etc.

The only issues I have are Camera and MMS (Possibly data-related).

Requisite, can I assist you with my MMS issues possibly?

The other day my Play Store worked fine for a while and a few hours later it stopped working. Don't know why, but myself and all the other people that have been following this thread from day one are waiting patiently. There are a bunch of new people that I'm sure are irritating him with questions and concerns that he's already addressed or is in the process of fixing.

How about we pretend like requisite0 is CyanogenMod and not ask about an ETA :)

Correction. MMS does not work fine. It's only reported working for some, not all.
 
OK i flashed it,i think it seems.. that i dont have to airplane mode 3 times for internet to work.. but the roam indicator is there since its stuck on the framework till a fix. anyways. Regular texting works fine - MMS does not.

Hm, interesting. So. do you think you might have found out why the rom seems to be fine for some and others are SOL? O.o

EDIT: And no, I am not hounding you for an ETA or bugging you about why features don't work, just curious is all.

Speaking of curious, what are the chances of you doing a CM9/ICS port after this? I flashed the one for the Optimus S today, its pretty sick, and that phone isn't as good as this one :)

I've planned on getting CM9 going after CM7 for awhile now.
 
For those trying to fix wifi, are you restoring from a titanium backup of any sort? I reflashed the rom, and everything worked fine until I restored my apps and settings. I also installed gmail before doing this, but after restoring, gmail was also removed. Might be some sort of settings reinstall that breaks wifi?
 
if it matters.

my admire was 2.3.4. before flashing cm7

I know some people are on 2.3.6.


maybe cause of this some people gave different bugs.

People are sending me pictures but i cant get them or send them out, is this gonna be fixed anytime soon and if it already is then what should i do to make it work.

Ps also the camera is working but when trying to take a pic, i just get a white screen then freeze wtf is going on but the rom itself is great tho, love the fact that we have theme chooser now, lol now i can brag to my friends cuz they would want theres like mine

ALso Anyone if you had this problem and fixed it please pm me or some thankx
 
I got stuck on the boot up I did everything right but I backed up everything and I was good but I still want to try this again but bricking it scares me
 
when trying t view a video i downloaded to my phone, it plays but dont move, its just a still image but whenever i got to the youtube app and play a video it works fine EXCEPT when trying to put it in high qulity

Please Fix, Need Update Bad
