@ requisite: Nice looking work man and i did post you a thanks but i had to revert as this really did not play well with Ntelos. ;)
 
he doesnt have service at all on his admire. so he cant really test that well. i think he is going for full functional before he works out the data speeds and such.
 
Data speed really wasn't the prob, it would switch to PCmetro settings every time you clear the cache.

I was not posting that to get a fix just to let users with ntelos know that it was not working and to thank him for his work. :)

Have a question, for the past week my cm7.2 beta2 will not stay connected to my wifi. It is a secure wep (verizon) it was connecting just fine and now it wont. I reset the router and all that stuff.Guess I may try re installing beta2 and the gapps again to see if that works.

Happened to me once...
I just re-install it and it worked
 
Hey;
I am new here and this ROM looks very promising for me. I am switching Carrier from Metro to Page Plus / Verizon prepaid, and the stock 2.3.4 wont let me adjust the data settings so my browser wont work.
You had an APK for cricket, is there any way to create one for page plus?

Cant wait to try.

You need to manually edit the APN's for your phone. Along with the apns-conf.xml file in order for the fix to stick. Also, we only have an APK for MMS, but if you message baby_jesus he could come up with a solution for you.

Bump. some one rebuild this with fixes and gps fix and also please remake under/overclock kernals please, no offence to any one but when i flash 800mhz kernal with a rom not miui data and wifi fails, i flash it after it settles.

This post is stickied, so theres no use for a bump. ;)

There are people working on this ROM if you read the thread.

What do you mean by flashing the 800Mhz kernEl? Do you mean the stock kernel? Or is that a typo.
And what is your fix for it -- Im not understanding flashing it after it settles -- do you mean you reflash the Overclock kernel after the system stabilizes?
 
just stay on the stock kernel if your phone doesnt take. i was thinking about compiling reqs kernel but starting it at 800 mhz over clockable, so everyone can use it. would you guys use that? it wouldnt fix anything.. just make it easier for phones that dont take.
 
I just flashed this CM build this morning with the OC kernel and am surprised how solid everything seems so far. Kinda weird that it boots with Digital Roaming, but after making a call that seems to straighten out. I am using metro pcs.

I came over to this phone from the Droid X with Verizon and after a month I thought that this phone would never feel snappy at all, with this CM7 build and the OC kernel, it does!! Thanks. It's just about daily driver worthy.
