yea it works well the only problem is wen i change the cpu settins like putting it on 710 at smartass it just starts rebooting constanly every 30 seconds. but overall i love it fast reliable and screen look flawless.. but i really wanted the 0708 one. do u have that 1?

yes i do but i aslo have issues with it, i had to set mine at 710 SmartA$$ cause i would go on on the market & it would sometimes Reeboot. & other things as well... i'm about to load 0624 & give it a shot & see how it works...

yes i do have Metro, it takes a while on the red screen you should try again.

do you have titu install, if so open it and tap backup/restore tab at the top and scroll down to market and tap it and tap wipe data, than close titu and retry downloading from the market again.

I've flashed pretty much every rom you guys have posted, and some of these are no doubt bad ass, but is there any way to run Contact ringtones in any of these CM roms that are available for the Ascend?

Bobz did that 3 or 4 times, after that it work for me. I have mine at 710 and it works great. Try PG CM7!!!

titanium backup, a app I dont use but others love it to death. the specific thing you were being told to do in tibu you can do how I said w/o using another app.

I think I can speak for just about everyone here,you don't want this ROM.(Search & read about the history of this ROM.)
Try CM7.2 07282011 instead.It's more up-to-date,runs very smooth.
Once again,nice work on the CM7.2 ROM, PLAYFUL GOD!

Did you flash the gapps zip also? If you did, you might consider getting new downloads and reflashing the ROM and gapps.

By the by, you'll have better luck getting help by posting in the CM7 Random Issue Thread. This thread is for a version of CM7 that ended up being... rather unpopular.

Had the same problem. Did you download from rommanager? Download the latest zip make sure and format everything its says to NOT SD CARD though. And flash manually in recovery. Haven't got a bad download since.
Make sure to flash gapps to like Scur instructed and you should be good to go. Special thanks to issacj87. Playfulgod, Bobz and everyone involved in the build. F a Kmod
