i mean.. when i go to settings and try to add my account (gmail account) to the add account option.. it says error..

I see you can add accounts from Settings>Account and sync>selcting Google ... If this is what you are trying I think it works fine.. --I went all the half way up to adding username and password. What error do you get?
Make sure you have a stable internet connection...

Or, Maybe you should try wiping data and cache and then adding account.. Make sure you do a nandroid backup if you are about to wipe your data...

hey guys. i have a question regarding about this version.
i tried to install this cyanogen a while ago but it seems i have some problems with it.
it was succesfully installed but i think it was stock on the android boot animation.

i thought it will just take for a minute so ive wait for it, but im already waiting for 15minutes.

so i dont have other choice and i flash back again to gingerbread 2.3.5

i dont have costum roms on my SGM.

can u help me guys about this problem?
i want to try the cyanogen.

hi there.. i already applied this cm7.1 on my SGM but i want to have the 3x4 keyboard settings since im not a fan of qwerty pad. can u help me about it?

and i also dont have the market apps,youtube apps and so on.

i have downloaded the new cm7.1 as i see on ur post.
im greatfull because the cm7.1 was perfect and stable.

i just want to have the apps....

You will need to flash gapps to get Google Apps like market, youtube, gmail, etc. Download Goo-Inside.me and flash it in CWM recovery...

You can download and install any 3 * 4 keyboard on your phone from the market or give me any keyboard name and I will give you the link because I don't know any 3 * 4 keyboard --I love swype and it is qwerty layout.--
Or, you can search market for it.

thanks for the reply mate, but i already search at the market but theres no 334 keyboard only qwerty,actually this mode works perfect, it seems everything is fine.
it has a sound enhancer u can boost ur sounds up also the bass of the headset, the camera was good and perfect to.all features are good,
but there are things that will be hard for those first time users,

1. putting a contact on write message.
when u go to write message u cant browse ur contacts,u just have to memorize their numbesr to put it on , so the best way was go to ur contacts first and browse the send message.

2. playing videos is not on landscape mode, but when u playtube it is landscape mode.

3. when u browse on market sometimes it crash, and u have to force close the application and then open it again

4. the keyboard is only qwerty no 3x4.

this is only base on my experience when i start to used this cyanogen mod.

For me the best is the sound enhacement

For keyboard try this --I haven't tried but, guess it is 3/4--
Samsung keyboard.apk

For the contact you found alternative and that is good.
For video if you use your device in Landscape mode then you might get it in landscape too. Or try QQPlayer, it is the best for video player, its plays in landscape by default.
For making market work make sure you have latest version of it and try wiping your data --do a nandroid backup first, if it is badly annonying you.

Hi there mate, i also have an experience about what happened to u, coz its also happen to me, what i did was flash again to 2.3.4 and clear all the applications that i have on my phone and then i install the CWM, then clear cache again. after i install the cyanogen i did a factory reset,then it turn out to be fine. try to discover by urself ..

Yup zheiwren is right.... Try this and see if it works.

Also, Make sure you have Gingerbread 2.3.4 (try with European version if you get any error on Asian one), Flash ClockWorkMod recovery (old one is better for first try) , WIpe cache, Flash CM7 from recovery, Wipe Data and cache and dalvik cache too and reboot... Wait till your phone boots. Try again if you failed with some other rom or firmware...

Try Bluetooth File Transfer app from Market (free)... It works perfectly with the app.

Make sure you wipe data and cache in CWM recovery after flashing cm7 and then reboot it.

Also, check if you are using CWM v4.0.0.5 or later. If you are using latest CWM recovery v5 then flash CWM recvovery v4 using Odin...

You don't need to flash any other packages except gapps for Google APps. Other are almost included if you have flashed the latest one. Also, you might need to flash darktremor a2sd script if you have partitioned your sdcard or if you want to use a2sd on your device.


ALso, for your contact backup, try and see if anything can convet the .spb file to .vcf (may be kies can do it). Then import it with Import function of COntacts apps in CM7. And, sorry if I don't mentioned already, Kies is not supported by Cyanogen mod and other custom rom. You can use alternatives like Android Wifi Manager or Wondershare Mobilego if you need to sync data.

sir i installed cm_tass-ota-eng.08042012.zip on my galaxy mini s5570i...i didnt wipe cache and didnt perform wipe data.....so when i start phone it is stuck on samsung galaxy mini logo..... later i tried installing custom roms using cwm recovery but same problem continues..... sir please tell what i should do now to make my phone work again normally.... sir one more question, is it possible to install cwm recovery in other's galaxy mini and make backup using cwm recovery then copy that backup folder in to my sd card then goto cwm recovery mode in my phone and restore that backup .... will it work sir???

Sorry for this late reply.. But, what happened and how did you get to this problem.. What steps did you follow??

You should do it as follow:

Step 1:TO flash successfully you should first have gingerbread on your phone.
Step 2: Then flash ClockWOrkMod recovery using odin one package option in download mode.
Step 3:Then download the zip file copy it to sdcard and reboot to CWM recovery.
Step 4: Wipe yor data and cache (recommended for clean & safe install)
Step 5: In CWM choose option 'install zip from sd' then 'choose from sdcard' and select the zip file you downloaded.
Step 6: Wait till it finishes, wipe data and cache and reboot every thing should be fine.

If you are able to go to download mode try doing it from beginning i.e step 1. All the best...
