Root [ROM]CyanogenMod 7.1.0 for Samsung Galaxy Pop/Mini GTS5570

I have a question? Why does the radio doesn't work on the update from October 09, and does Spirit FM works on Galaxy Mini?
Extra question: If the radio works, which radio application should i use?

i already follow the instruction but it stuck at run Anim Mod application

click Allow
click Fly in & flip ( it will download )
click reboot

because it said.. root required... i confuse.. why still cannot since i think its already rooted..

Hey what are you talking about all this....
iF you are stuck at boot animation then you need to wipe data and cache and try again...:)

Yes, Spirit FM works fine with Galaxy Mini. Download it from market and install and use it.... Just check the Debug BCM ...# (some number which I forget instead of #) in Settings>Debug Options if it is not working... :)

Hey.
I've just flashed CyanogenMod 7.1.0 and it's great, but I have a little problem. I cannot found any option, that enables displaying contacts from sim card. The only way to see them is importing them to phone. Is there a way to make them visible, like it was in gingerbread?

Thank you for our replay and the useful information.

I have another opinion to express. My question was about FM radio in CyanogenMod, not in Gingerbread or Froyo particularly so that is why i posted my question here.

Yay, Galaxy mini is now officially included in Cyanogen :D,
You can even download a nightly build if you want from cyanogen website.. currently our device codename is ace but, they might change it later to tass or something more nicer....:)

Sorry, But, can't help you. DOn't have simcard on my phone and thus don't have any contacts... So, I can't tell you anything about contacts and all.... All I can say is try and search hard to do it... If it is not possible you can search for some alternative or cope with it.. we will get many updates soon for our CM7 that may include the bug fixes since our device is now officially supported by CM...

No,It's not Ace
HTC Ace - CyanogenMod Wiki

When you visit that site its get selected as ace as default device since its first one on device cloud above

I am still waiting OC kernel for oct2 update. or there is any newer version? currently running 2.3.7 october 2 withou oc

If you want OC you can flash them from here:

I have been using cyanogenmod for a week now and I have the same issue over and over again....the market is unstable and it crushes often. Otherwise this is a great mod (although I am a fan of go launcher and the adw made it a bit hard for me to get used to but I kept it as it where). Is there any fix for market?

You will need to flash gaaps to get market. Download Goo-Inside.me and flash it in CWM recov ery ... :)

Also, if your market is crashing you should consider upgrading it... :)
