Root [Rom] First Full ICS UI Rom For A 75 (A75_ICSv 1.0By Sagarwep)

I Tried many fixes but so far I was not successful in fixing market and browser downloading problem. :(
Has any one fixed them?

I didn't get any problem in contacts. :o

I have flashed your provided updates for camera market and link2sd and market and link2sd work fine no issues but the issues what i am facing is as if the cameras are switched getting clear image from front camera but from back camera its just like a VGA one i dint noticed it uptill now as have only checked that both cameras are working and thats it so now when was trying to take picture found this bug so please provide a fix for it as you need to switch the cameras and haan the sd card problem was occurring when we restart the phone and then again need to mess around files in the file manager and then it works fine so please provide a fix for this also.

Cant you port the original MMX stock camera.apk may be it will work fine so please try it.

Requirments-

1. Micromax A75 New Version ROM as base ROM (Rooted)
2. ClockworkMOD recovery by Varun
3. Full Backup by the recovery of previous ROM

-: Installation:-

Well, here are the steps
1. Download the zip from Download link
2. Dump it to SD card
3. Reboot to recovery
4. Factory reset
5. Wipe Dalvik Cache
6. Install zip from SD card
7. Fix permissions-This will take approximately 1 min
8. Reboot

Note- Rom is pretty heavy. While on the First Boot after Flashing, It may take up to 5-8 minutes for the ROM to boot up as basic services of all applications need to fire up and make it's cache! Please be patient:o:o:o:o

Hi Friends,

I have seen the mostly members are facing problem with camera, market and link2sd.

i used this rom perfectly I have no problem.

This rom basicaly script base if any previous rom script in your SD card they causes problem.

I have give again the step by step tutorial for following problems -




>1st flesh the ROM and Restart The phone

>2nd open wifi or gprs and going to market and sign-in (if Market force close then restart again and again)after accept terms and conditions u goes to market homepage after that trying the any apps for install and close the market.

>3rd after closing the market long press power menu and reboot to recovery
and flesh the camera and market fix download zip and reboot

>then you see market and camera problem solved.

>4th if u have previously partition of SD card the may cause problem because the script of aap2sd application. for this first backup ur card in computer and format ur card by phone menu setting/storage setting/unmount card and format everything (2 times)

>5th after that reboot the phone and open the galary and camera the unmounted problem solved.

>6th after that go to reboot to recovery and advance menu for partition of sd card choose any option and swep size 0 and ok after partition reboot and install link2sd via market and extrect zip provided via me not flesh this zip.


After that i hope your problems will be solved

If u backup ur from by can recovery then they backup only system file not user app becouse some rension ics keyboard in user app so after restoring not see the keyboard. For this solution u have download any keyboard apk via Google search in computer and install and after u install ics keyboard via Google play search they work u if u install first ICS keyboard they not working and force close.

Reason behind Market/Play not working is your build.prop plus DownloadProvider.apk n DownloadProvideUI.apk.
In build.prop,replace following strings with one from stock mmx build.prop.

ro.build.description
ro.build.fingerprint
ro.com.google.clientidbase

And replace both apk with original one means from LenovoA60 rom...i know u have ported that rom..n actually u have provided an upgrade for A75..the rom u gave is Android 2.3.5 actually.hope u know all this but didn't share willingly..no offence,good work.
Follow that solution n let me know.I made those changes in build.prop as i knew its wrong n Play store worked in 1st shot only thing was it didn't able to download...when i checked system apps in settings it didn't show Download Provider or Download Provide UI as app because i used one u provided in Market_fix update zip but i think it was not from original rom..I replaced DownloadProvider.apk from rom zip n it showed up on reboot,now I need DownloadProvideUI.apk from that LenovoA60 rom then Market will work for sure i think.
Do this n tell m results.

Dear mastermind1024,
I m working this from last one month, I know this is the 2.3.5 upgrade for mmx. When I check everything is working fine then desided for publising. The original DownloadProvider.apk of a60 not work for mmx after the chinging some in build.prop they work for me. At this time no issue with this ROM. This working fine for me.
I have at this time working some other ROM for upgrade to 2.3.7 with ICS UI and I m going for success and publish new from as soon as possible.

No problem with play store. Ur rom is the best.
There is only one bug. Stock browser downloads force closes
 
Still Play store force closes..not downloading n camera also not working...
All these work for u guys???sagar n kumar???

Camera got fixed...still Play store fc continuously.followed steps properly.any suggestions??

Before flashing market fix hit the play store and add account and accept terms and conditions.
Now download something play store will get closed. Go to recovery and flash market fix and after reboot u will see download notification.
Enjoy :)
And yes stock browser downloads everything but due to lack of proper downloadproviderui we cant see the processing.
 
As compared to other ROMS, this ROM is extremely good,
But I m facing few issues as below:-
1. Display light goes on and off by itself for long time
2. Battery backup has decreased so much. This is the major problem.
3. After tweaking all this as mentioned, gallery is working but camera is not working.
4. Animations is bit slow, as compared to other roms.

Else everything is good. Can anybody suggest to resolve bugs

I just flashed this Rom.. Loved the look and feel of it. I do not see an option to import the messages that I have exported before flashing :-( any idea how to import messages?

Messages exported from mmx stock rom cannot be imported in this rom,no such feature..if u have used some SMS Backup app then u would have done it by now so i assume u backed up using mmx rom..sorry not possible AFAIK...(Actually possible but its too complicated if u r not a pro)
 
Hi,

I have a few more problems... Call log does not list the names the name is not saved with a 91 prefix. when I open the camera app it appears too grainy..My SD card is not getting detected by the camera and few apps..Please help me fix these problems
 
Hi Sagar,

Your rom is perfect but battery backup is too low, hope this point will be covered in new version.

What is the launch date?
