NOTE: If you are still running B09, you will need to flash the partition updater and the rom.

NOTE2: These zips are unsigned so you may need to disable signature verification in cwm before flashing.

NOTE3: Your device must have CWM to flash ROMs.


Flash in CWM as follows:
  1. Download ROM
  2. Put the ROM on your sdcard if not already
  3. Reboot to CWM Recovery
  4. MAKE A BACKUP!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Wipe data
  6. Install ROM from sdcard
  7. Reboot
  8. Enjoy!

also seems a good bit snappier than the b09 people complaining about speed and want not and theme issues I've had none as of yet also remember the srs sound enhancement sucks make sure to disable it make everything sounds alot better during calls. :) SuperR props sir
 
Does anyone know the actual fixes? B09 to me did seem a bit snappier to me than the software that originally came with the phone, but no true multitasking and slow SD performance + slow performance overall with a lot of installed apps forced me to flash to cm10 again. I may flash this sometime and take it for a test drive.
 
Thanks for ROM, Probably not the place to ask but is there somewhere I can go to learn how to build ROMs, I want to help out this part of the community.
 
Another question for you guys. Did you guys notice any voice quality degradation in b09? Originally people were always able to hear me, and then I switched to b09 and people were always complaining about how they couldn't hear me and so I would put it on speaker and they'd say it was a lot better.
 
2 things you can try donjuro disable srs sound enhancement and while on the phone turn down the volume while on phone sometimes people hear themselves because of the speaker if you try this it should be alot more tolerable

i would first start by learning some linux and than using common forums such as this one and xda as well as search engines to hone your craft put your mind to work a little reading and research & perseverance you should be good
 
Alchemy, I never use SRS. I'm an audiophile and I think it's one of the worst "enhancement" plug ins ever made!
But anyways, I flashed this, the deodexed version and so far so good. It's not bad and so far running better than b09 last was but I'm guessing it's also because this is a fresh install. Obviously this isn't up to par with 4.1 in terms of speed but it's much more stable. I just hope my phone doesn't start to bog down again. When it does I guess the fix is to do a clean install.
Oh yeah, another thing, this ROM has sprint apns, but is working fine with my boost phone.
 
i concur most of the garbage aint there ive had it no bog downs yet b09 was a horror even on reinstall seems stable i have all my crap back on it . I'm an audiophile too this shit is terrible thats the best thing i can tell ya besides hangup and recall or airplane mode that shit and unairplane it and recall lol
 
Been use the Deoxeded version for 3 days now. No slow downs like before. Which always seemed to be Chrome that caused that but sometimes I would wake up my phone and it would take forever to get out of my lock screen. No problem like that yet. I am well pleased, still will probably be getting a new phone soon, but this release makes me enjoy the last days. Thank you.
 
Adam, your post sounds like it could have been written by me. I too used to notice slow downs with chrome, and I too may soon get a new phone. I'm sick of this one and am thinking the optimus f7 is the best choice for me. (Picked the f7 because it uses an IPS screen so colors are more accurate than s3, plus these phones receive much better support, so all the positives make these phones well worth the money. Unless a Dev can make a zte worth it, I will probably never buy a zte again.
 
I would say go for the f7 for speed, but the moto g is perfectly acceptable if you're low on funds and can live with 3g.
 
I am torn between them both. I like the size of the F7, but the midrange processor sets me off a bit. Don't care about GPS because I have a Garmin in my car I use.

I like the Moto G, but the no SD slot throws me off.. I don't care about the 3G only, because I don't fully have 4G in my town and the data speeds suck either way.. however, from what I read, the 3G is unusually fast on the Moto G for some reason. They are both on QVC's website for 4 payments. The F7 is 30ish dollars more than the Moto G.. decisions, decisions.
 
Moto G is official cm device, OTG works out of the box for additional storage, comes loaded with 4.3 with an immediate update to 4.4, quad-core, gorilla glass 3, $99, enough said ;)
 
I'm very upset! So this is a sprint ROM and I knew that, all the apns were different but most still worked, however i was unable to receive MMS messages and it was really making me angry, so I decided to do a profile and prl update and ended up having all my apps and texts and everything deleted. I didn't think that would happen or I would have backed everything up! But everything is boost now. Even the Android boot up logo is the boost one now.
 
I still get the Boost boot logo. But none of the boost apps are on mine.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but I never noticed it until I flashed this. Sometimes my phone calls don't work. I'm connected but can't hear and vice versa. It lasts until I reboot.
 
Oh, I know about the apps being removed on purpose, I was just comparing to what donjuro said. I haven't had any problems with Boost service tbh. This hasn't started until I flashed this.
