Is there a stock kernel I can flash instead. Cause I know if you flash thunder.prop then flash bkernel there is no problems. Unless someone can build the thunder.prop spec. To this Tom with bkernel.

There should be one floating around check the all things root guide alternatively you can also try using umph kernel it has no problem with thunder.prop

1. theme is cool, looks good.
2. need to replace virgin mobile shutdown animation. very loud and annoying to see when it boots up really nicely.
i like it. I replace the ics dock image with my custom Atrix 4G dock image but dont customize it too much besides that. should be good to use as a daily rom since i will have to use the HDMI out a lot in the coming months.
froyo is always a step down from GB, but this rom is pretty nice.

yeah i wish virgin would release an update then id port this to GB
EDIT: can make the shutdown silent but what to change animation to?

OK everyone i found a work around for thunder.prop for this rom. .
First i downloaded stock triumph kernel , stock build.prop, broms stock build prop, and finally broms thunder.prop.
Wipe delvik cache, flash triumph stock kernel, roboot
Go back and flash stock build.prop, reboot , force close market clear data
Now flash broms stock build.prop, reboot , force close market clear data
now flash broms thunder.prop, reboot force close market clear data
Should be good to go
Now you can reflash broms kernel

I used to just open the build.prop and change the manufacturer lines. no need to flash anything, all done in a minute or two.

O lol i didn't it was that easy lol wish i knew that before i figured other stuff had to be changed. Thanks for the info. What exactly do you change and to what.

Hey just thought id chime in again and share something I thought was interesting.
I gave my old Optimus V away to a family member, and in return I got a LG vortex, which is verizons version of the Optimus one. its running Froyo 2.2.2 with a custom skin. but when you pull down the notification shade, it has toggles for things like WiFi and airplane mode and stuff. exactly like CM7.
very neat, clearly its possible in froyo. would LOVE to see those features baked into this ROM.
this rom is my daily driver on my Triumph for awhile, by choice. I love cm7 and miui but I need the hdmi functionality right now. this rom has room for potential. certainly can be made the best froyo rom on Triumph thats fully functional and has the best features of other roms integrated.

ive been trying to add them to the rom but every time it starts up the phone it forces a reboot im still looking into it though cause i would also like this... good news is ive gotten dsp manger working
should be in the next update

new update includes dsp manager and thunder.prop only issue i have is the market doesn't show apps that it should with thunderprop for example i went to download asphalt6 and it wouldn't show but when i restored the apk from titanium backup it allowed me to download the necessary files to my sd card so the thunder.prop works just not in the market i'll see what i can do about this

So... has anyone gone from CM7/MIUI to this? I'm curious, just because I have used CM7 for a while, and I have never gotten MIUI to work right.

i did lol main reason is i wanted hdmi back but didn't find any of the available froyo roms to my taste so ICS theme it is
hopefully someone can get android 4.0 running and with hdmi that would be awesome lifeblows10

Is it worth it though? I mean, I don't care for Froyo, but as long as the GPS is fixed, I'll switch.

was it ever broken??? i only used gps once since i had the phone back in july
I agree with mobstergunz the main reason why I wanted to stray from CM7 is the hdmi not working on it and seeing as I've been using an ICS theme on CM7 aesthetically there is no difference in the switch. I could honestly live without the tethering, power notification widget, and switch to next track with volume key when screen is off (my three favorite features of CM7) that comes with cm7 but the bluetooth knocking the phone off the network stops me from staying with this rom unfortunately. In terms of GPS however there is no difference that I am aware of. The lock time is pretty bad with CM7, Froyo, and MIUI.

awesome awesome awesome with the DSP manager. I for one really appreciate your hard work into this rom. thanks! even if you dont get those working, i feel better knowing effort was made. and it wont stop me from using the rom anyways. the DSP manager is a welcome addition

1. What does "deodexed" mean. I'm rooted and running CM7-TG-Reloaded so I'm assuming I don't have to worry about it
2. Can anyone who has run both this and either Tickerguy's original CM7 or reloaded give me a straight up performance opinion? which one do you prefer overall and why?
