Root [ROM] Froyocream Sandwich v2.0 released: 3/29

Great work on this, guys! Still can't get thunder.prop to work/download modern combat from the market. Works fine on cm7 but I've tried everything and still can not get it work on this rom...really want to try playing on the big screen via HDMI out. Any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know why the mms apk is not pulling my Facebook contact pics into conversations? This seems to happen on every froyo rom I've tried on my triumph to date...including b_randons stock deodexed.

yeah the market won't show it but if you backup and restore the apk it will let you download the SD files so it kinda half works

Its a little annoying but here is what did to get thunder.prop
Download stock triumph kernel, stock build prop, Broms stock build.prop,broms. Thunder.prop and finally broms latest kernel.
Flash stock kernel
Reboot
flask stock build.prop
Reboot and clear market
Flash broms stock.prop
Reboot clear market
Flash broms thunder.prop.
Reboot clear market and should be good to go
Now you can flash his kernel back on

Process is annoying but it works for me everytime
 
i think if you clear the market apps data it should reset it and start using that data off of the new build.prop
 
I can't seem to uninstall Google Music in v1.2 ..Titanium Backup complains that it can't find the apk. Also can't update cause it's not signed properly. It let me uninstall in 1.1. Sorry I know it really isn't a big deal but I really want it off my phone since I don't use it, any suggestions?

Try using something like ES File Explorer to uninstall it or delete the apk from the /system/app/ directory.
 
thanks for the help, I removed it with root explorer.. my setup is complete now :D

This rom is great.. I dont even have to overclock to run any of my games at full speed.. I get a good 12 hours of heavy use

thats pretty good, i overclock to 1.4ghz for a completely lag free experience :)
 
This ROM is crazy fast and works better than Froyo should by itself. BUT, I am having some problems with alot of my apps. They force close constantly and I can't get most of them to work.

Beautiful Widgets
Angry Birds
Fruit Ninja
Cut The Rope
Zedge
Amazon App Store
etc.

I think it is Titanium Backup that might be messing with them, but I have no idea. I love your ROM, but will have to change soon if I don't find a way to make all my apps work.

Any help is appreciated.

did you use titanium backup to restore those apps? if so, what rom did you back them up on?

When using Titanium backup, choose "restore apps only" .... NOT app+data.

It seems that when switching from rom to rom restoring the app data files can cause quirky problems. Yea I know it sucks when you lose your progress in your games but at least you can still play them without any problems.

Ever since I have started doing it this way I have never had any problems.

By the way, Thanks ziggy and mobstergunz for putting together this rom! I have only 2 complaints. Battery life and the darned screen-flicker .... Everything else looks great!
 
I like this rom, however, the power control widget is bad steal the bg.png fromy skinned settings I posted on sdx. also it needs the reboot to recovery option. thunder prop isn't working. seems to run better then brom 1.0. majesty doesn't crash anymore. keep it up!

I backed them up on CM7. I am re-installing now, after wiping cache and Dalvik, so we will see. I am going to just reinstall all of my apps and see if it works instead of using Titanium.
 
That would involve b_randon14 to update his kernel with it. They can't do it unless they make their own kernel.
 
I just started using this ROM last night and it's amazing! Love the ICS look and the working HDMI. What do you guys have planned for the next release?
 
This ROM seem to have less lag than the other ROMS, my gameloft games play much better on this ROM, of course I had to use titanium back pro to reload my games (app only without data) because I could not DL them from the market. I am not having no problem with this ROM, only thing I would like to see added is
Copy and paste I can't copy and paste from my browser ANY IDEAS?
Screenshot and reboot in recovery added in options in the power button.
maybe a new ThunderProp Build for the market access

This ROM seems smoother and less lag

What a tease lol but can't wait. Atleast tell us if its gonna be froyo based or gingerbread based
