I chose this ROM because i was having a memory problem. I only had 8 apps on internal memory but it was still growing by 2MB every several hours. It would not allow me to receive txts. I tried fix this without rooting but it was just too complicated for a newbie. Once phone is rooted how can i move apps to SD that can not normally be moved to SD in regular froyo? What other files can be deleted that grow this rapidly? I also wanted to overclock...what is the recommended kernel for this rom?

heres are some answers to your questions. :D

#1- those growing files arent apps, they are alog files enabled on the stock rom... we are going to include a script that keeps those from building up. resulting in you not needing to move apps to the sdcard :)

#2- This rom already has an overclockable kernel in it. so all you have to do is download "no-frills cpu control" from the market and set your frequencies. (remember, anything above 1.4Ghz is risky. so be careful)

ok so guys and gals. i went through and finished the minor details. im going to test soon and post results :D (phone died, might be 15 mins or so)

Made my day to hear that! whoohoo!

So whats the best way to back up all the apps and data to move to v1.4? Is it still Titanium Backup?

Is there any other requirement to install this ROM? I know how to backup with nanoroid and clear data and such but what is this deotoxed whatever you called? Should I do this?

I am coming from CM7-Reloaded. I really would love to try this next ROM :)

you only need to deodex if your flashing just the theme... if you flashing the rom, there is not need to deodex because the rom rewrites your /system folder with the pre-deodexed system that we built off of :D

Thanks Ziggy, I will try this ROM when it is ready, I may post a video if I really do like this :)
