Root Rom Help

I need help with the Cyanogen Mod. I just rooted my droid 1 using Z4 and I wanted this Rom(one of the main reasons for rooting) I am using Rom Manager and I download the Rom and do all the steps. My phone reboots to the warning screen and just sits there. I pull my battery and everythings fine. I just want to know why I can't get this rom to load... Some one help please?

What warning screen? This was the first time I have installed a ROM via ROM Manager and it worked fine...

Yeah it was the "!" inside a triangle and a droid sitting next to it...

You have to flash a recovery first. You flash a rom from recovery, not rom manager. RM just downloads it.

I still wish I could get the RM to work...

Hit the first option in rom manager "flash clockwork mod recovery". Then reboot while holding x on the keyboard. Hit install from sd card, navigate to ur rom, hut enter then install. Afterwards reboot and voila.

Im so confused.... I did all that but I cannot find the ROM.... I almost want to give up...
