Root [ROM][ICS] MIUI V4-2.9.14 alpha 4 (9/16/12)

I've LG Marquee with MiUi 4. Streaming video through its browser is not smooth at all. The sound and picture is flaky. I tried various versions of Adobe flash player. I downloaded bloomberg mobile app and its live tv portion is not working at all. Sound comes for a while and it says "This video can't be played". Any ideas?
 
I've seen if you use your phone as USB storage and write/delete big files from your sd card through the computer your LG Marquee will get fried. I've noticed two times specially when you delete file from your sd card through your computer. Anyone has this experience?

you can't damage the phone by using USB storage.
 
I really like this rom I was wondering if you have ever made any progress on the Cameras. I'm very pleased with the work its just having the camera not working properly that is a little off putting... anyways... Thanks.

Also is this project dead?
 
MIUI ports use CM as a base which is why they have the same things broken, so I can't fix anything in this till its fixed in our CM10/10.1. if it anything gets fixed in CM I'll update this rom again.

The cameras are waiting on the 3.0.8 kernel for the drivers to work. Tdm and co. were going to take another look at the kernel. If you want to follow the kernel progress, check out the development thread for CM

When upgrading MIUI you can use the Backup application for backing up and restoring your data:
➯ Go to Security Center folder > Backup
➯ Press BACKUP
➯ Select both System and Applications
➯ Press START BACKUP
➯ After its finished follow the installation instructions below
➯ When the installation is finished and the phone boots up go back to Security Center > Backup
➯ Select your backup and select System and Applications again
➯ Press RESTORE

Installation:
➯ Copy the zip to your SDCard
➯ Boot into ClockWorkMod
➯ MAKE A BACKUP
➯ Select "install zip from sdcard"
➯ Select the MIUI.zip
➯ Select "yes"
➯ After its finished press back
➯ Select "reboot system now"

hello bloodawn im sorry to place this on this post but i cant find anyway to contact you in private or a post about my question. I have a boost lg855 marquees and I downloaded miui_lg855_2.12.21_test1.zip from goomanager i installed it properly using your install method. it boots up fine it looks great but i have no 3g internet connection and in the beginning of the roms load screen it serches for a sim card which the lg855 from boost doesnt have. Is there anyway i can get 3g data to work on this rom...

I have tried ctmod but I don't like it. I just wanted to try the jellybean version of miui but it doesn't allow me 3g access on my matqures. If I was to change my baseband, kernel, or radio would my 3g work again ???
