Just wanted to let you guys know, I traded my DNA for the One. I will no longer be maintaining this thread. I will be maintaining the AOSP ROM request thread over on the XDA DNA forums. There is a link at the bottom of this post to that thread.

I am in no way involved with the creation or upkeep of these ROMs. All credit goes to the people listed above. I just wanted to bring them to the attention of people who may not frequent XDA. Any thanks and support should go to the Devs who made this happen,

Should anyone listed above take issue to me linking to the ROM, just PM me on XDA, my username is the same, and I will remove it as soon as possible. Don't want to step on any toes, just spread the news.

If you would like to put in a request for an AOSP based ROM either go to this thread ROM REQUEST XDA THREAD or PM me here and I'll add it to the list.

NOTE: I have flashed all of these ROMS and all run fast and smooth. They are very stable and the only remaining issues that I have found are the ones that effect CM 10.1 as it is the base of the other ROMs. I will answer any questions that I can but for the best answer, go directly to the person who actually made the thing.

These are some different kernels for AOSP ROMs
THEY ARE NOT FOR USE WITH ANY SENSE BASED ROM

awsome! i dont have one of these so ive not been paying that much attention to the development. AOSP progress is always slow on vzw's dual radio phones, glad its going well. id be using one of these if i had a dna for sure.

thanks for bringing the links to the comunity here

No problem, I plan on starting another thread for some of the more distinct sense ROMs later tonight when I get home from work. Hopefully get a little more discussion going on in all things root:)

A couple of new ROMs were released recently that some people might find interesting. Also, it looks like someone is planning a LiquidSmooth ROM for the DNA:-)

Carbon was just released. Some issues with the WiFi atm

Edit: flash the kernel in the second post as a fix. The Modules were forgotten in the initial release.

Edit 2: re-uploaded with WiFi fixed

Rootbox was just added to the list. mobile data and camera are broken for now.

Edit: Mobile data works now.

Hey man, I just ordered my DNA and I want to flash AOSP, but I'm going to Germany in a few weeks. Do I need to flash the GSM Patch from the CM10.1 forum? Thanks in advance.

So long as the carrier you are going to be using there is GSM, then yes. I believe that the GSM patch for CM 10.1 can be used on any of these ROMs, I may be wrong though so you'll have to do some testing. I know for sure it works on any that have CM 10.1 as a base rather than AOSP.

Ran CM 10.1 for a couple of weeks and liked it well enough. Flashed CarbonROM today and love it so far. It's more in line with what I was used to with my GNex.
