i havent messed with the svn yet,but i did flash the nightly yesterday morning and am happy to report bluetooth is now functionaing as it should.
first i do like this rom. sense 3.5 isnt so bad as sense goes,i kinda like the translucent rosie,and i dig the 5 try app/weather widger
the ui is slick,and the included wallpaper above rocks
i havent wifi tethered with it yet,but i also had occasional data drops. overall it is smooth,yet i still think a lil slow(not referring to quadrant scores) and sometimes not so fluent. to me sense roms always seem this way,and this isnt really any worse than most that ive run(big reason i always wind up back on AOSP)
im also pretty impressed with battery life for a sense rom,seemed better than the 5-6 hours i normally get on sense with my extremely heavy useage.
picked myself up an htc flyer so im a lil distracted with it for a couple days prolly,but ill keep updating this rom and running it for a few days. i liked the origianl infected virus froyo(1.12.605.6 based) rom,and looks like this has got alot of potential to be as quick and as good.
only real issue i noticed was the keyboard is sometimes incorrectly sized and mostly covers up the screen youre trying to reply on. i havent searched the thread,so if theres a fix for that,my apologies i havent seen it yet.

It doesn't have the old Sense launcher, for one. It has the new Runnymede Sense launcher. But, if you prefer the pinkish Rhyme launcher, you can select that one as well, from Infected Tweaks. It's amazing to me how people are so quick to break deals before they even know the whole story of these free roms.

Its because people feel that reading anything past the title is a waste of time.

It's really not that big of a deal. I'm not bad mouthing the rom. I just said it was a deal breaker for me, not the entire android community.
It's really unfair to assume that I didn't read about the rom. I don't expect anything for free either. If I run the rom then I donate. Where have you been hanging out? Certainly not here. Attacks like that are truly unwarranted in AF.

I really hope you weren't talking to me because I, in NO way, attacked you. I stated facts which contradicted your initial "reasoning" for writing the rom off. Nothing more. As for what rom you use, I really don't care. I simply wanted to make sure you knew the facts before you wrote this one off. Also, I didn't want your misunderstanding to promote misconceptions in other readers of this post. For instance, "bjanow says this has only one old school launcher. That must be the case." So, chill with the accusations. I ain't mad. You have no real reason to be either.

You must have missed my post/thanks count if you think I havent been around here for a while. lol. I wasnt attacking you, I was pointing out that you were wrong about what you were saying and saying that what you wanted wasnt in the settings. If both versions of HTCs launchers didnt suit your needs, then NOTHING else will when it comes to sense. I was also pointing out that you have the option of changing it. There are countless third party launchers, which ROMs like CM7(Built in ADW) use. No one said anything about donating, so I dont even know why you brought that up. lol.

I really like this Rom but r85 version for some reason when I turn on wireless tether app it kills my data. Once i turn off wireless tether it comes back on. Might have to load an older version until a fix comes out.

I dont tether, so I cant answer you on that one, but Ive heard that you have to actually open up the app and give it SU permissions before using it. SU has been like this with a few other apps that have widgets or other forms of turning it on. CacheMate is one of them.
Edit: Also, the Repo is up to 90.
Slow?! lol
its a bit slow on original settings (lag free gov, whatever its originally clocked at). I dont know if its because I've been running AOSP for the last month or two. I have turned animations off, changed govt to on demand and overclocked to 1497, now it feels pretty good, r90 build. I still love it as far as sense roms go.

What I said was that nothing is free for me. If I run a rom I donate. Did you read my post or just glance at it? This is your advice, you might want to take it.

I've gotten Quadrant up to a little over 3100 but, my honest daily driver numbers are in the range of 1600-1700. If your range is much lower than that, you may want to look into wiping and re-flashing but, at that range mine doesn't feel laggy at all. For comparison sake, my day to day settings are 1497MHz on the Performance governor. That's the only performance tweaks I make.

Is there a link for r90? I checked viruses download page but still has r85. Trying to fix this tethering issue.

If you see people mention a higher rev number than that which you see on the file host, it's because they've jumped on the SVN gravy train. If you want info, I linked a butt load of info for Scotty somewhere on the previous page.

I don't recall if this applies to anyone in here so, it isn't directed at anyone but, I'm glad to see some people can still follow instructions! lol This stuff isn't rocket surgery! It's as simple as the instructions. Anyway, I'm glad to see it working out for you.
