Finally decided to try this rom ,works fantastic!! :thumbup:

EL29 Direct boot kernel

Boot into a safe recovery. Flash EL29 Direct boot kernel in Odin, Once in recovery
Wipe data/factory, cache and dalvik.
Flash ROM
Reboot

Anyone wanna test the sprint version ?

Edit: Ok I decided to test it myself. I was greeted by a awesome boot logo :O. So far its running smooth. Although it says sprint on the lock screen it's still working in virgin mobile. Gotta test data. Will update soon.

Update: Data is working for me, however the signal bar icon doesn't show correctly sometimes. Also comes with a touchwiz launcher and a jellybean launcher like the CM 10.1. Camera/VideoCam/Gallery is working fine, no force crashes so far. Also no freezes yet.

Update2: There were reports on 4G dropping on the CM 10.1 rom and I dont remember if I had 4g drop on me, but I haven't had it dropped so far on this rom.

Update3: MMS does NOT work.

Can you post link of EL29 kernel. Or is that even necessary. Could I just flash the rom

Update: dived in head first like you guys and flashed it..... OMG! Its amazing soooo smooth and fast. MMS is then only think i found not to work so far

Update 2: cant seem to gt a good lock with GPS either but i don't really use it so not a big deal

I came from FJ12. Flashed in CWM. Also I didnt use that EL29 kernal thing. Not sure if it was because I came from CM10.1
Yeah, I dont ever use MMS so im fine without it.

I didn found any issue with the gps works perfectly and locks very fast

Mms works on cm10 roms for this phone. Just have to do a little tweaking to the mms settings and mms.apk I believe.

Not sure if anyone would be willing to make something like that. But Prinny was the one who fixed MMS for this ROM and I think he mentioned replacing the mms.apk with the one in the paranoid android he uploaded. I forget which thread it is but it's around here somewhere.

the battery does not last very long = not using 8 hrs using the cell 3 or 4 hr
