Root Rom&Kernal Explanations please

Ok so I'm new to the fascinate and have been reading everything I can about the way to ROM and all the good stuff I was used to doing on my OG Droid.

My problem is I keep seeing a bunch of Rom builds like EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 and so on.....Also radio or modems like dl09, eb01 and others

My question is how do I know which one I have currently loaded on my phone. I know the rom has it listed on the thread but outside of that is there a way to tell?

What does it say when you go to Settings > About phone? Should be the last 3 slots at the bottom which give out what you're running.

It gives me a baseband version(S:i500.04V.EB01) - explains the radio/kernal but the build numbers.

So can I take it you can flash seperate kernals/radios for different rom builds? I'm just so used to the OG droid that I'm having some growing pains learning the ropes with the samsung process.

Yep, it shows what type of kernel is running, just not the specific build. It'll show that on vanilla asop though.
