Root [ROM] Latest OTA Leak

Re: Titanium. Probably, but I don't know for certain.
I suggest wiping because I didn't boot up the first time without doing so, but your mileage may vary.

Awesome, I love having the full rom and being able to customize and remove things as I please.

Adrynalyne (may be too soon to tell) but have you noticed any other bugs still lingering in this version? All the bugs from before seem to have been ironed out here?

You need to be rooted, sadly.

This is the same version as the new leak except I added what was removed, ringtones and all, and removed the radio. It also won't auto wipe your data.

Once again Adrynalyne, I am in your debt:D. One question, when you added in the removed stuff, did you take it from the previous leak or is it from the current leak?

Just got home to install now, we don't have to change the name of this file to update.zip right?

No need to change the name.

@Skorpios, I took it from the old leak. Its unlikely any of the apps saw a change. One that might have was htc peep. If thats the case, I will make a patch to upgrade it.

I've heard the occasional data loss (3g) is still present. I always reprogram my phone after a flash though, and that seems to help.

That said, I haven't had enough time with it. I spent all my time making a hospitable leak for everyone :D

My phone is off and charging so I can reset battery stats.

your EVO port is a bit faster and more stable than this build

yes, you should be blushing :p

Thanks Adryn, I suspected as much. I don't use peep so that isn't a concern.

Well so far so good, just got everything set back up the way I want it and the phone is running smooooooth.

Quad score: 1298
Linpack score: 39.51

Going to do a Nandroid Backup tweak a few things and remove all the bloatware tonight!

thanks adrynalyne! installed your zip and its good.

i did notice that my outlook calendar is now listing each appointment 4 times. anyone else seeing this?

Can anyone say how quickly the battery charges with this one?

for some reason I'm having issues with my battery taking forever to charge after flashing the first leaked 2.2 ROM.

anyone have similar isssues? did they stick or disappear after flashing this one?

thanks

So if I'm currently rooted (using the original random restart/sdcard method); and haven't updated radio, what is the best practice/procedure for getting this latest 2.2 and updated radio on my phone? I'm fine with wiping and starting clean ...

Good scores! Did you try out the EVO port? If so, which do you prefer?

Thanks a bunch adrynalyne! I'm about to try this tonight. Also I'm wondering if anyone knows what bugs were fixed in this one from the previous leak?

All that I know of, save the 3G drop issue, which seems random.

Reprogram your phone after installing seems to minimize it.

I also included the market fix.

Yep, thats pretty much it :)

Just make sure you never upgrade a 2.x radio version over itself. So doublecheck your baseband version, just to make sure.
