Root [ROM] Leaked Spectrum ICS 7v05 test ROM CDMA

Well after testing now for about 6 hours are work, this ICS blows the ICS update I also got on my HTC Rezound, outside on my 4g drops.

It blows rezound out the water? I'm confuse, I really wanna flash this but dont know if its better just to wait till AOKP or CM10 is finish..

I would wait for the CM9 or 10 ports to finish. The leak put my phone into a bootloop so I just restored BO3. I did like how Lg did the lockscreen on their UI though.

True but the spectrum was the top of the line now wasn't it? Dual core 1.5 ghz and what not. My point being is this phone out ranks some the newer phones and it's still being sold.. Just goes to show. The lg Optimus is free on sprint and still being sold, wanna know why? Cause it has pretty much the best signal out of all their phones. I've had it for a short period of time. The thing was awesome. Loved it! :-)

i just have high expectations out of my phones.. i always push them to their limits..
all my past phones have had way bigger dev communities.. the specs and the hope of ics and the $199 bogo deal would upgrade my line a year early and save my unlimited data i jumped for it.. this was before we even got cwm..

now with this rom.. i absolutely love it.. i havent had any issues with it and ive been running it most of the day.. i love the lg 3.0 ui.. ive been running this launcher on my fascinate since it was first posted on xda

now if we can just get the ota for our devs to pick apart and make this thing perfect

The look and fell imo of the Spectrum ICS is better than the ICS sense version for the Rezound.

i couldnt agree more.. i love how sense does all their integrated widgets and lockscreen.. but their new launcher looks weirdly like golauncher

my favorite thing about the spectrum launcher is the little flap when you delete a shortcut and the ability to change the icon

I just flashed this about 30 minutes ago and so far I'm impressed. Gonna be my daily driver if it performs as it is right now. I cant wait to see the final ics release from lg because this is quite impressive and being such an early build I'm hoping the final product is even better.

UPDATE: cancel that daily driver thing. It's way to buggy. had 2 reboots already, even though it shows i have 3g it doesnt load the internet. scan sd card take forever. quite a few apps force close, lg home has crashed a few times. Sucks getting a taste of ics and not being able to use it permanently.

Using Titanium Backup to freeze almost all bloatware and used nofrills cpu to raise minimum speed to 815 MHz, prefomance and cfq. Score 3468. This still okay.

Earlier time I uninstalled many bloatware application then restarted, but this will not go past LG logo. I reflashed again and uninstalled each one unistall each reboot and found one - DO NOT UNINSTALL Hot Pursuit. This one with boot lock? May be more bloatware that prevent from booting.

Safely uninstalled Kindle, Verizon Remote Diagnostics, Let's Golf, Apps (red color and Verizon in the bag).

4G data connection was working good yesterday. Today 4G data started to drop after 5 min of use. Have to reboot phone to get connection working again. I know I live in low 4G area but V6 version always switch between 4G and 3G. In V7.05 version will not switch to 3G when I watch Netflix. This real issue.

Read my post its going to act dumb un the first hour now flashing it!!! Give eit some time. It's my daily right now :-)

I read your post. I'm back on v6 stock now. I cant risk going through the day with my phone acting like that. I might try again tonight

Alright just trying to get you you to run it cause I am with no issues but battery drain (bloat) and mms. Which isn't really bad to me

I would wait for the CM9 or 10 ports to finish. The leak put my phone into a bootloop so I just restored BO3. I did like how Lg did the lockscreen on their UI though.

I have the exact thing. My 1st attempt at flashing, it booted well, activated SIM, 4G which changed to 3G while I was still on setup screen. Some odd behaviors but fully functional (except 4G). I thought I will reboot, and that might bring 4g back. But that caused it to go crazy. Reboots, reaches to the lockscreen, I see "searching for service" and reboots again, over and over.

I went to recovery with hardware key combination, wiped everything thrice, flashed CM9. CM9 reached to the first setup screen, activating..and a couple of seconds later rebooted, again reached to activating/searching for network and reboot, over and over

I was really scared that this leak ruined my phone permanently, but decided to give a go to BlackPlague. It flashed fine, activated my SIM and everything was normal.

Then, I went back to recovery and flashed the leak again. This time it activated fine, solid 4G, no reboots or errors (except wiper). It was late, I went to sleep, this morning everything worked without a single glitch. On my info screen it showed 4.04 and ZV7. It never dropped 4G even for a second..Perfectly stable...

I felt comfortable, did a reboot following a SMS/call log restore with Titanium, and now it is again going crazy, constant reboots when it reaches the lock screen and searches for service

It appears that for some reason, after initial activiation when it reboots and detects T CDMA 64, it doesn't like it and goes crazy.

I was on BP before, using CWM 6.0.1.0 Another odd thing that I noticed: when I do wipedata/factory reset on CWM, I get this:
Formatting /data...
Formatting /chache...
Formatting /sd-ext...
E: format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mcblklklp2
Formatting /sdcard/.android_secure...
Data wipe complete
I don't recall this being displayed before I flashed the leak, but now evertime I do a wipe it always comes up

If someone can figure out what I am doing wrong here, please let me know. For a couple of hours when I had this leaked ROM, it was working perfectly, I want to use it for daily use.

When I wipe my phone it always does that. So you shouldn't worry :-)

I ran a benchmark last nite and got 6706. I had pretty much all bloat removed not frozen, and no changes to cpu speed. I really like this rom alot so far. Besides a few data drops, which are easily fixed by turning airplane mode on and off, or enabling or disabling data a few times.
Thanks for making this MicroMod!

Do you mind posting the debloated Version? I was going to do it for MicroMod but since you already have it, might ass well post it ;-) thanks

I keep going into bootloop for some reason. I didn't have any issues with the CM9 rom but went back to BO3 so I could have mobile data back. Decided to give this a try. I have wiped everything as usual, pulled battery after install, tried the flash 3 times method. Wiper keeps closing right after boot and then I crash. Going back to BO3 for now but if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks for your hard work on this is...its awesome to see the devs get this far in development so fast!
