Root [ROM] Leaked Spectrum ICS 7v05 test ROM CDMA

See my post above. I am just an average user, won't know a thing about radio, but it appears that for some reason my phone does not like T CDMA 64 network when it reboots (not during initial activation, weird). The bootloop starts even when making a simple phonecall when on this network. I have flashed this ROM for 5 times now, twice I got 4g all throughout, thrice I did not. Interestingly, one time when I forgot to do a complete wipe before installing Black Plague, I could not get 4g even in Black Plague.
 
I flashed last night and had almost no touch response form the screen. It would take multiple very solid taps to get anything touch to register on the screen. Other than every looked great and seemed to function fine.
 
Everyone wipe dalvik cache in cwm and tell me if that made a difference. I wiped it before flashing the rom and I'm having no problems. Also it seems the mms is working family members sent me pics and it came through :-)
 
I always did three times triple wipe: userdata, chache and dalvik. Variable results as mentioned above with each flash
 
I've had the same problem with this ROM as many others have had. After powering the phone off, it would get stuck in a bootloop. I noticed it was happening when the SIM card was being initialized in the beginning, so I assume it has something to do with the radio. Pulling the SIM card out and booting it again allows the ROM to come up.

I tried wiping the phone and then reinstalling the ROM to no effect. I wasn't even able to restore my CM9 copy then either. I have found that, by installing the stock V6 Rom and booting it up, I was able to successful wipe my phone afterwards and install this ROM again. I just know that I can't turn my phone off again!
 
This is odd...this rom runs so well on my phone. However, on my brother's spectrum the dropdown notification doesn't work. Prior to installation, I factory reset my phone and wiped davlik cache (not sure what he did). On my phone, everything seems to be working well except gps and the "wiper app". Overall, runs very smooth.

BTW, I froze a bunch of stock apps, including Hot Pursuit so the guy above is giving a false negative...like I said, my phone is running very nice and smooth, much better than any GB based rom.
 
Just flashed this ROM to my phone and it ran really hot on initial setup. I installed No frills cpu and saw that the CPU was set to 1Ghz ondemand. Changed it to 1.5Ghz and to interactive and it seems to be running cooler now.

Lol I just heavy debloated it but I must warn you, one app in the system seems to not like to be touched not sure which one but whenever I boot the phone it has the LG logo and Security Error underneath it. I'm guessing its Guided Tours or Play Movies or Polaris Office. Not sure im going to delete each 1 by 1 and see which on it is. I think its Play Movies since it detects root and all and it has a lot of security.

I have the exact thing. My 1st attempt at flashing, it booted well, activated SIM, 4G which changed to 3G while I was still on setup screen. Some odd behaviors but fully functional (except 4G). I thought I will reboot, and that might bring 4g back. But that caused it to go crazy. Reboots, reaches to the lockscreen, I see "searching for service" and reboots again, over and over.

I went to recovery with hardware key combination, wiped everything thrice, flashed CM9. CM9 reached to the first setup screen, activating..and a couple of seconds later rebooted, again reached to activating/searching for network and reboot, over and over

I was really scared that this leak ruined my phone permanently, but decided to give a go to BlackPlague. It flashed fine, activated my SIM and everything was normal.

Then, I went back to recovery and flashed the leak again. This time it activated fine, solid 4G, no reboots or errors (except wiper). It was late, I went to sleep, this morning everything worked without a single glitch. On my info screen it showed 4.04 and ZV7. It never dropped 4G even for a second..Perfectly stable...

I felt comfortable, did a reboot following a SMS/call log restore with Titanium, and now it is again going crazy, constant reboots when it reaches the lock screen and searches for service

It appears that for some reason, after initial activiation when it reboots and detects T CDMA 64, it doesn't like it and goes crazy.

Hello all,

I've been lurking for awhile and trying out all the various ROM's over the last few weeks and I just loaded this one. Running BO3 on my wifes phone. Other then Wiper (what is wiper use for anyway?) FCing it is very stable for me. I did go through the flash process a few times just be safe as I saw that it has worked for others. After getting tired of waiting for the OTA I started trying all this out and while I'm still a newbie I'm learning a lot...So thanks everyone for all your hard work.

Agreed 100% :-)

Edit: Also I took out the wiper.apk out of the rom and no difference lol. I have it debloated very heavy and battery is way better and so is charge. :)
 
Okay. Heres my .02 about this rom. I know that not all spectrums are created equal. Ive used 5 and all 5 reacted differently to different roms. The one im using now runs th eleak perfectly. I see many people complaining about no 4g. Mine is getting 4g solid right now. And iv enever got 4g in my house before.

And would anyone thats debloated theirs with positive results post what youve took out or post the debloated rom?
My only dislike is ive lost 9% battery from th etime i searched for this thread and got this message typed. Lghome does lag a little when returning to the homescreen. But im sure someone will have. Fix for that soon

I'll post soon I guess. There's a lot that goes bye bye... For the time being get root uninstaller and delete those bloated apps EXCEPT play books, it has some kinda security behind it

You can freeze it but not to uninstall :)
 
Uploading right now its at 26% but I debloated a lot! It's 427MB, that's over 100MB less then the original Rom. So there is a lot debloated! There will be some things such as slacker radio and tunewiki MAYBE still in there, just use root uninstaller to delete them. Backup manager I believe it's called can be uninstalled.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO NOT UNINSTALL PLAY MOVIES!!!! THIS WILL CAUSE YOUR PHONE TO BOOT UP AND HAVE THE LG LOGO WITH SECURITY ERROR UNDERNEATH!
