I have successfully rooted my T-Mobile myTouch 3G using SuperOneClick and all the root dependent programs(root explorer, quickboot etc.) work fine. The problem I am having now is flashing ClockworkMod recovery or any other recovery from within Rom Manager. I get the dialog that says the phone has been flashed successfully, but if I try to boot into recovery from RM, I get a white triangle with an exclamation along with the image of a phone. I have waited 4-5 minutes but it seems the phone is stuck in this screen. My recourse is to take out the battery and let the phone start up normally.
If I run Rom Manager, it says my current recovery is ClockworkMod, but as I mentioned above, I cannot boot into the recovery. I'd like to know if there are any other steps I need to be doing do get this to work. I want to install CM 7.1 on this phone, hoping most of the Froyo lags would go away.
