Root rom manager not backing up

So i used the one touch root method from unlocker.com and it was successful. I then flashed using rom manager and that was cool. But when i try to make a backup it sends me straight to the boot screen and whether i jus reboot or reinstall packages i have the same result i jus reboot and no backup gets started. I have the latest version of the free clockwork recovery. Any ideas on what could b messing up?

Do i need more than 450 megs? Thats all i have left on my sd card

One of my backups is 900megs, but i have a lot of apps.

Ya thats what i figured but still i would think it would at least try to do a backup i cant even get to the green screen to even attempt a backup

did you flash clockwork mod recovery?

yea so its backing up as we speak. memory was the issue. thanks for the help guys
