Root ROM Manager on official Froyo 2.2

What's going on with ROM manager now? When I access it, you can see a browser error message overlaid on the screen like one you would see when you try to access the web with no network. I've deleted and reinstalled it a few times now from the market, including the recent update for it today. It's was doing the same thing with Flashlight+LED app.

Does that mean those aren't compatible with 2.2? I know that can't be the case since 2.2 has been around for a while, but what gives?

I downloaded ROM manager just in case I decided to start flashing ROMs. Comes up just fine on mine.
