Just wondering if it was wise to install a ROM from ROM manager? Saw where you can get custom roms and wondered if that a safe way to do it.

most custom roms will install ROM Manager..but i dont use it...its just there to look good...i use clockworkmod to backup my roms and load up new ones...i feel like clockworkmod is better cause you can always get back into it no matter what...if you cant boot up the phone...how can you access the app???...but yes you can use rom manager to download new custom roms and back up and restore....

Only about one or two roms i used from manger were not buggy and up to date. Just go to xda,download,and flash. Works alot better.
