New update to ROM Manager and still no official recovery for our device... I think Koush is blatantly disregarding the many requests that I as well as many others have sent him... Anyone have any ideas about getting this pushed on him.. Maybe an abundance of requests will get us some attention....

Hey D2A u think we can get amonra recovery from GNM? Amonra is a custom recovery similar to CWM for those wondering what it is.

it would be awesome if a dev would look into getting 4ext recovery control ported to our phone. I'm not sure how good it is but it has a 4.9 rating in the play store and over 10,000 downloads. PEople are really praising it big time and saying how much better than CWM it is.

I need to email the dev about getting it to work on our phone. Though I guess it actually could already but I have no clue.

Neph, mt, or Death, or anyone with knowledge about this stuff! could you please check into it?! thanks

Koush is a busy guy and does more than just rom manager. Besides, in case you didn't notice, our device requires some work to get cwm to flash. Unless he has a device, how can he dev a version? I talk to him now and then, I can ask if he needs a device or something.

The thing is thou, that all he needs to do is swap the kernel and the fstab file in the Nitro recovery and he is golden. At least that is all I ended up doing for the port. Granted, I do not know why his fix for CWM rebooting into itself works for the Nitro and not our device.

Well I'm pretty sure he doesn't port releases, so it's probably more complex.

Hell, his git is public... Why aren't people compiling it and making a proper app, then telling him about it?

I'm guessing that I am just missing it, but where are you finding his git for the p930 recovery? In fact, where are you finding the git for any of his recoveries? The few gits of his that I have found are for his programs and personal stuff.

It should be in the cm sources.

Ok, found the CM source for the p930. I will toy around with it some this weekend/next weekend, once I read how to properly compile CWM recovery from it.
