I know that we need some more Rom's so I have been working on some ports as of late, and have cooked up Miui v4 for us!!! This is just a preview rom so don't expect anything; too spectacular.

Main thing is that it boot's..... That is a great start!

Bugs known so far.....

• No Camera
• No ril system AKA No phone calls and no service
• Random FC's on Permission Manager on certain root apps
• No Usb Mass Storage

I need testers.. Please post Bugs.​

If you have major problems post a logcat please. (pm me.)

• -The entire Holo/Miui Experience that you love.

In short just install and bug test if you want to see something else on this device. Sorry I have been up all night and I would work on it more but I need some rest. So it is not too functional yet, definitely not a daily driver as you cannot call or txt as of yet.

Installation

1. -Make a CWM Backup!!!! (If you don't already have one!!!!)
2. -Boot into CWM or Philz
3. -Wipe/Reset Factory Defaults
4. -Wipe Dalvik Cache
5. -Flash Miui-JohnMonsour.zip
6. -Flash Gapps
7. -Flash Chevs Zippy Kernel Beta.
8. -Reboot and don't forget to....
9. -Enjoy!

If it isn't for my phone needing to be working 24/7 for my business I'd test it out for you, too.

Nothing can completely f this phone up. We can always restore it unless you just really really hard brick it! Like screw up the partition table or something. Just make sure to always make a back up before flashing. Or always have one on hand.

I will post some screen shots. I haven't really used miui much so I can't tell you much, Supposedly more like IOS theming. But it was an easier port. I used chevs cm10 so all bugs that were present in that are present in miui also. Miui has a website if you are more interested. And this is for the FX1 or optimus f7 on boost. It is not a daily driver. So don't expect to much.

Too bad neither one are a daily driver right now. They both are highly anticipated. Especially CyanogenMod. This one looks amazing too.
Hopefully we can find progress eventually.
