Because it CONSTANTLY uses your bandwidth, Every time someone downloads it. If you upload it to a remote site, It doesnt use your bandwidth all the time. :p


Plus, you cant shut down your comp then, bc itl kill the torrent.

My torrent client never gets turned off. I can host anyones ROM if they want me to. No problem.

I'm seeding 237 files atm.

That kills your upload speed then. Itl take forever to send a request to view a website, Or anything else.

I have a 10mb/s upload rate, But not everyone has that. I personally wouldnt want to have my internet being bogged down from a torrent client running 24/7.

Anyway, this is getting off track.

How hard is it to seed 270mb anyway? :)

I have used many ROMs since getting the EVO V back in August last year, and yours turn out to be the best.

I might have to try this later! I just flashed MIUI...So I'm not sure if I should just nandroid it and then flash yours...or do a wipe and reinstall...So many decisions @_@

Ah well. I know I'll flash it today probably...because I am indecisive.
 
Nice rom Mobster, I put it through some paces and it seemed to work well. I have grown a bit partial to sense though and I went back to your other fine rom Unlocked Potential HD. Oddly enough Unlocked Potential HD averaged about 500 points higher in Antutu then this senseless rom. Both installs employed the butteredtoast kernel running at 1512 Mhz. Do you intend to do any updates on Unlocked potential HD? Not that it necessarily needs one. The only things I could think of is replace the broken google now with voice search and maybe add an AROMA Installer with options to pick a kernel and to opt out of sprint/vm bloat.

Though, a question before I do...Are you now, or are you ever, going to incorporate a 1% battery mod into this?

Just a curious question, really. Not a deal breaker. Just me being lazy, too ;)

I can easily do it so its just a matter if its really needed?
 
I don't know if its NEEDED. But I'm not a fan of the ICS icons, so you know I'd want to change them :P
 
I've been having a weird issue where the service just completely drops. I have full bars on the phone but my signal notification app says -120. I have to either hit airplane mode or restart the phone to get service back. Any idea as to what it could be?

Will be checking this ROM out shortly, love your work Mobster and will most likely love this ROM as well! :)

Just a quick question, I will be flashing my friend's EVO as well and was wondering does this ROM require S-OFF like your prior versions? I assume it does but want to make sure before I flash for my friend as he is not S-OFF
