Root [ROM] Mobster Remix - 07/18/13 only 265 MB

I'm not sure..... I've flashed the Rom Dozens of times and I've never had any issues with the Gallery or Media Players
 
is there a way to import mazdas lbe from MUIU into your Mobster remix ive tryed the lbe from playstore & it doesnt work at all at boot it says failed too get root then i tryed blocking things like gps with it then ran speed test & it still uses gps so i know that doesnt work iam guesing lbe from the playstore is a dead project
 
As stated in an earlier post I am a first time Rooter. Really enjoy the ROM. I have ran into only one issue. I would post a screen shot but the forum will not allow it or links as I have low post count. Anyway the one issue I have found is when I go to Settings/ Launcher Settings/ Homescreen - Homescreens and Default Screen both read, "Not Working..." is there a way I can fix this, am I suppose to download and or use my preferred Launcher?
This is the only issue I have ran across. If I need to list any phone info or any other info please let me know.

I just doesn't work if I'm able to fix it in the future i'll remove the "Not Working...." and I'm glad your enjoying the Rom :) but its even better with Mirage Kernel :thumbup:

Is this the KERNEL you are speaking of: [KERNEL] MiRaGe - for HTC stock ICS ROM - 3.0.86 - 07132013

When I flash this do I need to wipe the cache/s or anything or do I just flash the kernel and reboot?
By the way I am using TWRP 2.6 if this matters.

When I flash: The latest kernel build (07132013) do I need to do: The package that removes /system/bin/mpdecision and /system/bin/thermald since I am not using the Flash Image GUI ??

Never mind I will use the GUI, nice how things work out when you read and follow instructions... Thanks LOL

No mrg's flashable zip will take care of mpdecision and thermald aslong as your S-Off. And yes wipe caches.
 
Have you noticed an issue when adding an Exchange Account?

I have a Live account (Hotmail) and when I add it I use Corporate/Exchange so it keeps my contacts, calendar, etc. synced with my phone. When I add it after entering my user name/password, etc. I get: Couldn't Finish, Can't connect to server. I tried AngryBean which worked was fine and unSENSEable I had to download the Outlook.com app as there was no "Email/Mail app". Any idea? Is there a way I can create a log file that may help. I am trying to provide all I can but since I can not post SS or files I am limited.

**UPDATE**
Domain/Username: there is no domain but I use my FULL email for the user name, alford_michael@live.com
Password: duh (yes I am using the CORRECT one)
Server: m.hotmail.com - I rechecked this and this is still the current server for Hotmail, Live, Outlook

hold up. I wasnt aware that outlook.com would work with the accout for exchange active sync. I was under the assumptions that they were two different email types.


Try the outlook.com app and see if that works.
 
Sorry guys I'm not much help when it comes to Email Exchange since I'm not too familiar with it. I just added the compatibility.....

Loving the ROM mobz, i just had a quick question. Is screenshot working, idk if i am doing it right it, its been a while since i was on a sense ROM.

Apparently Microsoft was having issues yesterday. It works now.

I have an Outlook.com email as well as my live email and it works fine when setting it up as exchange. When you set it up make sure you use your FULL email as the user name, no domain and the server is m.hotmail.com
 
Another thing is it normal when you install a kernel that it will uninstall apps? When I installed mirage it removed the VM app and if someone calls I never get a VM icon or any notification. Thanks

MiRaGe kernel installation doesn't remove any apps other than thermald and mpdecision binaries. You are not using stock ICS ROM but please let me know if I can help in any way.
 
Well I have followed all instructions and every time I flash the kernel I have several aop dissaoper as well as the VM app... Any suggestions on how to flash it. I flash mobster, the mirage and when I do mirage is when about four apps disappear
 
I removed any "Virgin Mobile apps" from my Rom and I have never heard of a case where an kernel deletes apps. I haven't had any issues and I can't reproduce what your getting.
