Root [ROM] Mobster Rom HD/Lite - 031513

I have to say. This is great work. No errors. No lag. Nothing bad to say about it. Great work on this. I'm glad I decided to try flashing it. Super smooth.

Now. Battery life. I see there's a built in app...how does it compare to say....juice defender?

Any thoughts folks?

So 4EXT allowed me to flash it. Testing stuff as we speak.

Weird thing...Beats works, but I get no icon in the notification area. I know it works, though, because if I go to Sound Enhancement and turn it off, there is a noticeable difference. Hmm...

I've never had any issue with Beats Audio........ I always setup System Wide Beats Audio in the System Settings right after a fresh flash since it ask for Super User permission........ so you could try that to see if it helps

Nah i don't think this issue has come up before.......... anyway after a fresh install go to Settings and try turning on Beats Audio and selecting the profile you want i suggest "Other" if you don't have Beats Headphones this should work
 
I'd suggest a reflash. I'm running mobster rom, I'm S-On. Works just fine for me. In fact, the first thing I did when I flashed the ROM, was try sending myself a picture message.

Did it work previously and randomly stop working? Or has it not worked before?

It works and then stops and then works
 
I flashed this to try out tonight, and like it so far. There is one thing that is not working for me, and I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem. When I open up the apps tray, if I am in any of the bottom 4 tabs other than "All Apps," touching apps does not work. So, if I click the "frequent" tab, or "downloaded," and touch those apps, nothing happens. Sometimes the first app I touch will open. But, if I touch an app and slide my finger away, so that it doesn't open, and then try touching another app...nothing...

I will add that if I switch the view to "list" instead of "grid," they do work.

This is not a huge deal since I usually use Quickpic anyway, but I also realized that I couldn't bring up a menu in the gallery app, and so could not sort my pictures by name/date.

Was able to perform an Advanced Restore from 4Ext of my Data from my 2.5 Nandroid and all my apps work fine in 2.57! Sweet!! Not as straightforward as a dirty flash but a heck of a whole lot faster than restoring in Titanium.

Am I have 4EXT installed at the same time as TWRP 2? Using TB to restore apps is a pain, because I have a lot, and it makes you install one by one. I have not tried the batch ability in the paid version, but from what was described, restoring the apps with 4EXT sounds easier.

Actually I like to be able to view location on/off. Would it be possible to have a show/hide setting for this? I toggle location sometimes, and seeing that icon was a quick way to be able to tell what the setting was currently at.
 
I like this ROM a lot, but my battery is going too quickly. But I noticed that when I get voicemails, they are being transcribed to text, which I love. Is that an apk in there that I can put into a stock rooted ROM? Or is it some file that I could copy over?
 
Has anyone ever actually used the PlayStation Mobile app? I just bought Beats Slider with it and its not the proper resolution. I'm afraid I won't be able to contact Sony about it since I'm not actually on a supported phone. Any ideas?

I've used it to try the only free demo they have on the market and didn't have this issue at all. I haven't bought anything from there so I couldn't tell if it's the game or you need to re flash.

Didn't realize there was a demo. Wish I would've tried that before I bought something, although I suppose it wouldn't have made a difference - demo works great, even though it sucked lol. Still haven't figured out why the resolution is all screwed up on that game, I'm gonna give it a good troubleshooting this weekend though. Been way too busy with work this week...
 
Agreed, Rom running great, just gotta help out the new comers now, thanks mobz for all your hard work:thumbup:
