Root [ROM]{MS840} Number_Two v1.8 ~ ZVA

Keep up the great work Ldrifta!!! I hope version 1.6 works better for me.... 'bout ready to smash my phone with a sledge hammer! ;-)
 
I wonder why some users are having issues with bluetooth and number 2.I'm using Plantronics Voyager 520 paired and connected with no problems at all.
 
Well just throwing this out there I have been haveing the same problems with bluetooth but third party bt apps like bump work flawlessly. Hope that helps pin it down.

here is something i should have thought of lol... can someone run a logcat via adb(usb) when trying to freshly pair/connect a/any BT device?

i need you to do a FRESH data wipe, then ONLY flash #2, then run the logcat while trying to connect :D this will surely pin-point the issue for me

i learn more and more by day so eventually i will get this figured out lol when you all have new phones :p

i believed i figured it out :D

i finally was just able to test my latest version of rom on a connect and realized the settings provided is NOT stock LOL thats what it is im sure lol same with esteem... so im gonna test that out right now :D
 
Bt isn't working for me. Every time I try to pair it fc the bt settings. But the rest of the rom looks and runs great.
Also is anyone else getting the rotating wallpapers where it just randomly changes backgrounds. Its not really a problem, just a little aggravating sometimes....lol. I have tryed a couple different launchers and it still does it but its been happening since the official 1.6. If anyone else is experiencing this let me know so I know if its just me or not thx :-) .

I haven't tried the BT yet but I agree that everything else seems smooth. I don't get the changing wallpapers, I never had that happen before in any version so its weird that its happening to you.
 
damm.. ok well that was the cleanest settings i could find.. im almost positive the permissions are correct but i'll have to give that another look... other than that all i can think of it's a random thing that was mistakenly removed from BO maybe?

side note: that was a test for 1.7, basically only added pdroid patch + app, ics keyboard and the failed BT fix attempt lol.. wont be official untill BT is fixed but feel free to use it daily guys because everything else should be cool
 
I've been testing it all day it has froze up and restarted on me 3 times Bluetooth seems to work so far.. I I like the new additions especially DSP manager. if I run into anything else I will post them as they come

Right on I guess its just me then with the wallpaper thing. Its weird, I wonder what app or setting I may have inadvertently changed that would b causing it.. oh wells, I guess I'll figure it out someday when I get around to it. Thx

Im downloading it now :D I flashed ur full wipe before flashing the 1.7 test1 and I didnt get any reboots or any issues that I noticed. I will flash the full wipe again before using test2. The full wipe means u start from scratch, no contacts, no settings, no nothing... I just wanted to make sure ppl knew that before they used the full wipe, I will post what I experience.
 
I just tested out the BT and it worked :D I know some ppl said they never had an issue but being that I was one that did have the Bluetooth Fc issue I wanted to test it for you, so whatever you did worked my friend :congrats::D

1, yes you can adjust it, ill darken it up a little on the official 1.7 just needed to make sure BT worked ;)

2, no it's still the same image used, but when you have an app open it 'looks' gray because it too is transparent LOL so i'll darken it up :p


@Shatterproof: did you do a full wipe for the second test?? :D if so than we are golden LOL

the first time i paired to another phone attempting to send a file it paired and sent effortlessly... just tried again using the same steps as before .. . fc fc fc.. i see now theres another release .. looks like wiping n flashin

its still uploading LOL i updated op but not links yet, made a few lil changes :p themed the settings for the rom but provided the stock flashy for fixing BT will notify you guys when everything is good :D
