Root [ROM]{MS840} Number_Two v1.8 ~ ZVA

Thanks LDrifta for doing this! You are the man! Questions : Did you get the smooth scroll mod working with this? Where is the download link, on the first page?
 
First of all I've been running #2 pretty much as long as I've had my connect, thank you and it's the only custom rom I've ever flashed and not felt the urge to customize it much further, it's very much my style. Secondly, am I the only person who's noticed that SW Version shows vv3? I am aware that devs sometimes can't get versions to display correctly. Is this truly built off the new vv5? ;)

mine says vv5... are yuuuu sure yu actually updated to the proper baseband & sw?? lol

I downloaded your latest zip and flashed as I usually would. Are you saying I need to do something else? Seems like I'm missing something. Guess I flashed a vv3 baseband sometime in the past but don't remember.

this rom should be fully working, maye even better than most due to it not being deodex'd.. kinda gives you a lil boost with performance & boot time with the negative effect of no theming/modding apk's & jar's :/

but its the best i could do.. anybody feel free to pick up where i left off :D

Oh boohoo, no theming :D dude this is the best rom for our device and I very much appreciate it! As I said before, #2 is the only rom I've ever flashed and thought "Yeah, this is pretty much how I want it!". Anyhow, according to the log my mms issue has nothing to do with the rom. It's switching between services in the middle of a LARGE mms, and thus fails sometimes. Poor data connections, although infinitely better now than before, are still just something we have to deal with as Metro customers ;)

haha i was being honest.. i just dont have time like i used to so this will probly be as far as i can go with this rom.. so anyone do feel free to use it as a base and start a new rom lol but thank you for the compliment my friend ;) and yeah metro is getting better but it takes time to be the best lol

U know i noticed a massive data speed drop and increase at points so my data is really sensitive but still stick i get 4g(slow) were i always gotten 1x still a improvement

Just installed Number Two v2.0... Everything has been good thus far, however I noticed the LG Quickmemo is not in this, does anyone have the apk for that so I can install that on Number Two?
 
Has anybody had issues w/ bluetooth in 2.0 version??? Right before i flashed this rom it was working just fine.. now if you try to turn it on it shuts right off instantly.. any fix?? For this problem please.

same here. i may be wrong, but i seem to remember having this issue before with this phone. can't remember what rom, or if it ever got taken care of, as i dont use bluetooth often.

Well i was working just fine on any of the roms i flashed over to my phone.. and recently i updated to vv5 and it was working ok.. then after i flashed 2.0 it just crashes every time.. please fix if possible.. i have this really loud portable speaker that i would alwaays listen to music on bt now i cant.. please fix pronto please??
 
This was an issue with #2 ROM since it first got released so it must've carried over. Ldrifta did post a Bluetooth fix that worked but I don't think it works in v2.0, if you guys can't find it I will post it when I get to my pc at work in a few so you can test it.

you got to remove the app or go to the app's settings. I don't remember which app it is but it worked for me.
