Root [ROM][MS870][LOKI] Samurai ROM

Thanks..I backed my main ROM on my external but when I checked it thru cwm it didn't show the name of my backup it just said backup is that how its supposed to show?

After you click backup it shows the backups. Usually by date. That's because the folder path is usually /clockworkmod/backup/[your-backup]

plug in batt hold down power and vol down- at the same time wait wait then when you see factory reset option you can let go.read then press power to confirm don't worry you ain't going to do a factory reset you will go into cwm.this will only work if you have the Loki cwm installed.
 
Great Rom gt!

I can't get the email app to work. the gmail app works no problem and i can connect thru browser. When i try email.apk it fails incoming server.
i've cleared cashe,data, and renamed to lgemail and tried restoreing previous versions to no avail. i just set a bookmark to hotmail for now.
Any Ideas i like this rom and am gonna set it as my daily.

I always had the same problem. The email app didn't work for me in Katana either. Only worked for gmail addresses but never for my Live email or Hotmail so I use the Outlook app.

The CM @mail app doesn't support hotmail. When you click on manual setup if there were support you would get the exchange option, but you only get pop3 and imap. For hotmail you would need an app that supports exchange for microsoft.
 
I feel like a jerk, I'm DAYS LATE for this greatness when I was on everyday patiently stalking... I mean waiting for this. Haven't installed yet but thanks GT for making this phone enjoyable.
 
Hey GT, this looks Amazing! I want to flash this with the recovery from the original post, i went ahead and flashed the zip using the recovery that came with Katana ROM, but how can i access the recovery from this OP? THANKS in advance.
