Root [ROM]{MS910} #2 SonyGenMOD v1.3

I like this rom. It's fast / snappy and smooth. The Experia launcher works very well too.

Some of built in launcher apps are not working (switches, system buttons) but no big problem at all.

I am going to stick with this for a while :)

Again, thank you Ldrifta for the awsome work and sharing it with the Esteem community.
 
I absolutely love this. I got YouTube working by reflashing the rom....

But I have a question... I want a blue ics style notification bar. Better yet, a blue tint where most of the white in the whole theme is :) How can I do this???

And I agree, this would be a perfect stand alone theme.

lol you need to update the updater-script in META-INF folder ;) use notepad++

I don't see this as being a problem. It looks to me that the rom was built off a #2 base. Should be just a matter or switching out the 3 system/app/apks in question.

Can ya handle it?
 
Is it fc after sdeleting old and adding new? Because that would be normal... as the process is running when yoi are trying to delete it. You would have to reboot afterwards to see if it worked.

Better option would be to flash the new files into system through recovery.

But then again... these files could have a certain dependancy in framework that could be causing the FC.

But i don't know what I'm talking about :)
I'm sure drifta could help ya out... i was just trying to lighten his load
 
Rom is running great for me, I haven't had a problem
But I did copy the mms.apk from #2 and past it to this (looks better anyway lol) , so
Maybe that's why mms is working for me.
 
yeah,i really love the look of this rom but to fix the mms problem i had to resort going back to the non sony version of this rom and everything works flawlessly ,althou on a good note the bt problem did get fixed with this latest update

The first release looks great. PhonySony. I liked the look of the local screen in SonygenMod, but my phone lags at the screen all the time. Looking sweet and snappy tho.

yeah this thing still needs much work lol jus a little side project.. haven't spent much time on it.. but i will :D

This will sound strange but when I push the stock Mms.apk into the system/app folder it won't appear in any of the dock menus and it still says install on the app when it is placed in that folder. Am I missing something?
