Seeing as Myn's Warm is hugely popular it makes sense to have an official thread dedicated to discussion/support. I'll leave all existing Myn threads as they are but any new threads will be merged into this one. All download links and information can be found at the original thread:

Any chance on categorizing the ROMs, it took me a little while to understand the difference between Sense and AOSP ROMs.......a matter a fact, still not sure if I have it altogether yet. :D
 
I would like to load Myn's but I am curious about what the requirements are???

I am rooted w/ Stock Rom back from August. Do I need to update the Radio or the Wimax or anything before I apply it???

go a head and flash his rom most of his stuff at the time of the release of his ROMs have the most current radios

Now for the new radios to work you have to have the newest kernel for them to work i am running rls 4 and have no issue running it just how he gave it to ppl

wait till rls 5 and it will be the most current update for everything he is on VACTION but i sure it wont be long b4 it comes out
 
thanks Cookie but I have been putting this off for too long.

I got Myns RLS4 loaded successfully. I kind of like it but I grabbed a font change and it is a little tough on my old eyes. So I will have to swap i nthe stock fonts someway....

In general after you load a new ROM how do people load their apps??? I just appbrain to relaod them but it required me to confirm each app.. :mad:

Could I just use Titanium and restore apps and data???

I always just go to the market and search and install each one. I have a list and i can move through it pretty quick...
But when you use titanium, once you restore your apps does it sync with your market and then let you know when updates come out?
I used titanium once and after i reinstalled my apps, when i went to market, it didnt recognize that i had them installed so i had no reminder when updates came out.
 
Love this rom. Its fast and stable. Only thing I have an issue with is watching YouTube videos it'll freeze up then reboot. That's my only issue but other than that its an awesome rom.

Titanium will restore the app as well as the market data that lets you know when updates come out. Any time that you do a restore with Titanium, you need to reboot the phone. There are some things that need the reboot to get set up properly (including restoring your home screens). I have had no problem getting my apps to be recognized in the market with Titanium, though.

Is the screen completely white or just the section for the video? If its just the video section then just tap that part of the screen and wait a few seconds. It should play. Also make sure u DON'T have the latest version of flash installed from the market.

I believe app list backup goes through the updates for you to my understanding....haven't tried it yet though.
 
I just started using this ROM yesterday. Anyone have any issues with everything slowing down when you receive a phone call?

My first 4 phone calls were fine, but today for some reason after a call everything slowed down and I had to reboot the phone. :/

I've been using Myn's since RLS 1. Never had that happen before. Did you flash the most recent Radio/Wimax Combo? If so, did you upgrade you're PRL to 1.9? If so, it's not compatible with 3.30 ROM, only the latest 3.7. If you did, downgrade your PRL back to 1.77 and you'll be fine. Calkulin has a thread on XDA with all of the radios, wimax, hboot, PRL, NV, all various versions. Also, if you did indeed flash the radio combo, it is not compatible with the stock (HTC 17) kernel that comes cooked into Myn's ROM, so you would need to flash an alternate kernel such as ziggy's or Nets.
If you DIDN't update your radios, I would suggest using Amon RA to do a complete wipe (data/cache/davlik cache), reflash RLS4 and starting from scratch. All of Myn's ROM's have worked better than flawlessly on my phone, although things do differ from phone to phone.

I've never updated my radios or done anything with Wimax. Only thing i've flashed on my phone so far would be ROMs, Kernals, and upgrades. I'll try what you suggested and do a full wipe and install again. Is there a kernal you suggest?

- *very* fast. when moving from screen to screen noticeable snap
- battery seems about the same for my use.
- The ROM seemed to install very fast.

How do I change back to stock font??? By mistake I think I grabbed the DarkStar/Coconut font. Good font for younger people. :o Not good for my old tired eyes.

Just download it from Myn's thread on xda. Then flash it. Or u can do it from warm updater.
 
Does anyone know when the next myn release is expected? Apparently my swype doesn't work anymore because it was released with the latest OTA. :mad: Guess I'll have to go back to Fresh if myn isn't available--can't live without swype! :(

Hmmm...Swype has opened the beta up. You should be able to sign up and get an authentic version.
 
I've done everything that I can think of... uninstalled the installer, reinstalled from the email link I received recently--that didn't work. Then I uninstalled swype and the installer and went back to the link download, after logging in it stated that the beta isn't available anymore on the Evo because it's been shipped with the new OTA.

Am I the only one experiencing this?? Must be
 
RL5 should hopefully come out soon. Myn was on vacation and returned on Tuesday I believe. Hopefully he'll be making an announcement on the next release over on xda. This was taken from one of his posts on xda:

We'll see what I can do. My eyes are big and want a bunch of new cool stuff in RLS 5 but I also realize it's approaching a month since a formal release so I am thinking I may need to put some of those big ideas I have into another future release to not delay this any longer.

WHats up with my browser?? It wont wrap text at all? ALso,, im using ings kernal number 9 and the Rom seems to be a lag fest. ANy decent kernals which dont have screen flickering, lag and have an Overclock ability?
