WARNING: THIS WILL WIPE YOUR DEVICE TO THE FACTORY OUT OF THE BOX STATE

THIS DOES NOT RELOCK BOOTLOADER(YOU DON'T NEED TO UNLOCK TO INSTALL IT EITHER)

YOU NEED THE STOCK RECOVERY

This is the official firmware from Huawei for the Huawei Vitria(Y301-A2)

Firmware version:V100R001C85B132(what the vitria ships with)

B137 to B132 Downgrading Firmware(Use only this if you updated to B137)

How to install

Normal
- Copy dload folder to the root of micro-sd card(NOT INTERNAL STORAGE)
- dial *#*#2846579#*#* to enter projectmenu then go to upgrade then select SDCARD UPGRADE
- device will reboot to recovery and start restoring
- reboot to recovery(vol up+power) or enter projectmenu to wipe data afterwards

Force Install(If You have bricked completely somehow)
- Copy dload folder to the root of a SD Card(You might have to format the SD Card)
- hold vol up+vol down+power to enter recovery(force mode) and wait for it to finish
- will reboot when done if not pull battery
- wipe data as above.

ok . . . . . . . . . did this fix your vitria, did you have any problems installing using the force method?(what I'm guessing you used)
 
Sorry for the delay...at first I couldnt get it to work. Then I re-downloaded the file,and still no dice. So I finally formatted my sd completely,and that did the trick. Force method. Thanks a ton. You saved my phone. Any chance you know where I can get one for an alcatel ot fierce? Same problem. This is from boot looping,the factory resetting. The reset doesnt complete,but usb debugging is disabled. What a headache.
 
alcatel won't release it so I can't help you man:(

I'm about to take mine back, its not bricked but I don't like the quality of it(screen blue tint, battery, force closes, camera issues, etc)
 
OMG Kain....I soooo love you...i just fixed two of my vitria phones with your method. Omg you have no idea how happy I am... and i bought another vitria just in case i messed it up w the second one which thanks to you got fixed.
 
Finally my phone returns to its original state. It was previous rooted. So after I followed this, is it still rooted?

I'm just glad its back, and hopefully my data will be unlimited now. Cause the network has been horrible lately and from their end they say its "all good and normal".

Yep, and it removed root. But its also a bugging firmware? It does something it never did before. During a call, before its answered on the other end. The number on the top left flashes over and over.

Any idea, plus reason why I did this was my phone stop going into 4G LTE mode. I have unlimited DATA package and I live in a big city and I never ever use to have a problem with my service.

It use to always stay at the max speed 4G LTE, the whole month of April its been on 4G 90% of the time. My routine is the same, my usually at the same place home, etc. So I don't understand what has happen.
 
It seems like the folks over in the Valiant forum might have a CM 11 based from for the Vitria at some point. KainXS or others, do you know if the Valiant's setup is similar enough for us to use their ROMs as a base for the Vitria?
 
been really busy lately, anyway theres no cm11 base for the vitria yet or one thats similar that I see, but their is a cm10 for the huawei ascend d2lte(its a 8960 device) but its from a japanese forum and I can't contact the developer to see his source and I can't find it anywhere, and thats the only cyanogenmod I have seen for any hauwei msm89XX device, I really wish I could see his source:(.

and has anyone been able to get more gpu power out of the vitria with scripts or something like pureperformancex, I have been trying to get a certain emulator(-_-) playing decently but even ocing the gpu I don't get much extra gpu performance, for example, overclocked, near no difference, other benches show same thing and so does emulator.

Thanks for the how to on getting stock firmware on vitrial/valiant. ( I was able to get the 2 different firmwares but needed your guide to install it.

I am looking for getting kitkat on vitrial/valiant , and tried carbon rom for valiant, it worked but no wifi, so I went back to stock firmware on valiant.

Do you have tmobile stock firmware for valiant/vitrial?

Also, looking for how-to to getting the bloatware off, some program made for getting metropcs stuff off, or tmobil.
 
theres no tmobile firmware for the valiant or the vitria only metro firmware which is funny because they are both still run on tmobiles network since metro was bought out.

think I posted the valiants stock metro rom in the valiant forum somewhere if thats what you mean.

apps can be removed as I said above, but some stuff(not talking about the apps) can't be removed since we can't edit the apk's or framework or anything thanks to huawei.
 
The stock file u uploaded for the valiant, is that the same for the vitria? I ask cuz the same file name listed on the 1st post is the same name for the post on the Valiant thread, I think this is why wifi is not working or it will no install it on the valiant, the steps above unpacks it but it will give error on step2/install it will fail.

Does anyone and I am sure someone has a STCK ROM for the valiant please post it :)
 
they're not the same(don't use the vitria one on the valiant), extract the rar and copy the dload folder onto the root of an external sd card, if it does not work format the sdcard and try again, if it still does not work its probably because you updated it B139, it might not work if you updated it to B139 and I don't have B139.
 
What about the B137 update? I keep getting a notification for an OTA update but I can't do it because I deleted a lot of the stock apps/ bloatware. Is it even worth updating?

I'd like to know too. I'm in the same boat. Deleted a lot of the stock junk.
 
any1 know a different rom to use beside stock, or how to get gravitybox workin better.

lot of things don't work in it like reboot menu and the statusbar mods.

to get the status bar tweaks all working in gravitybox you need to replace the systemUI.apk best option is to use aroma file manager in cwm to do it, or do it using adb push in stock recovery

to get the power menu tweaks working you need to go into the build.prop and disable quickpoweron(this will disable fast boot option also) then reboot.
so look for ro.config.hw_quickpoweron=true and change that to false
reboot will be gone but can now be re-enabled in xposed apps to get advanced reboot and screenshot or whatever you want.
 
Hi, My problem is that it shows the logo and it says Boot image may have incorrect signature and then it boots into the stock recovery and after a while, it reboots itself and it shows the logo again and then back to the recovery and so on.

I tried the update.app method and that did not work.

My bootloader is still locked.

What can I do?
 
Anyone know how to go about getting your phone to be exactly how it came in the box?

So why has this stock firmware failed to restore the phone to factory?

Try going into settings and resetting the APN. Worked for me.
