I had this happen while trying to put some governors in... except mine booted to a blue screen.

Don't you have to do something to hack in support for the governor to support ... I think it's ehci... to directly power of the cpu core?

Not sure if this would help or not (for some reason I thought the mpdecision binary was a proprietary file..)

That's from cerux kernel. Looked like they were porting mpdecision from someone else's repo (as per the comments). Figure anything in that kernel should be pretty easy to carry over since it's an msm8660 platform.

Looks like it needs to be enabled as well https://github.com/elbermu/android_...mmit/95d5b33cff05c89c9dc5000dc6c4f60633c138a3

Looks like CM abandoned the change for this msm mpdecision though.... http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/33468/

Here's showp's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35667484#post35667484

He's where people are porting the mpdecision and thermald code from.

Heads up: I think cm committed something that broke the display. It seems all builds for all ROMs on all iproj phones in the last day or so just show a solid blue screen instead of the boot animation.

I think cm's 5-17 nightly is good... That's what I'm on right now and I'm having no issues.

Dirty flashed using stock kernel.

Just flashed 15 minutes ago for the first time. Already had 3 reboots. I have a nav bar showing at the bottom of my screen. How do I get rid of it?

Anyone know how to get rid of this little navigation ring thing that appears whenever I touch something at the bottom of my screen? I checked the navigation ring settings but that's not it

Like I said, I checked the navigation ring settings. That doesn't affect the thing shown in my screen shot. I just want to turn the thing off. It's annoying.

Pretty much... :D

To clarify, I get acceptable battery life on 4G (with poor signal), but terrible battery life on WiFi. Though, like IMCarmen, I work from home and can leave it on the charger all day.
That makes no sense. Are you running a fairly recent one of the roms? A month or so ago tdm added some filtering into the kernel because it wasn't filtering packets at all. WiFi life improved alot after that fix.

You should never get worse life on Wi-Fi than 4g... that makes pretty much no sense at all.

I know this is two weeks old, but thanks for setting me straight on this.

I'm getting better battery life now than I was from MT's BrokenOut! Aztoller1 came close on battery life with a couple of his roms, but if you want stability, features, speed and battery life... this is a killer rom!

I've been running this for the past 2 weeks, and like you think it's very good on battery life, has good speed, and few issues. I do normally get a reboot, or I'm forced to reboot at least once a day. I also get an issue where out of nowhere the phone is extremely slow, but a reboot always cures it.

This is a great rom for sure.

Pull your last kmsg when you get a reboot. I'm curious if your getting the thermal panic too since you only live like 50 miles from me.

Come to think of it... you should pull a logcat and dmesg when it starts lagging too. That could be thermald throttling the phone. I've noticed some unrealistic raw numbers in the past when it polled... like in the hundreds

If I were so inclined as to game on my phone...

I'd likely disable vsync to start with for more fps

I might also grab the latest adreno graphics drivers and toss them on my phone. There dev versions so not recommended for end users... but you might see done improvement

Two of my sons live down that way. My oldest in Williamsburg and my youngest in Newport News. Will be heading down there in mid-June to visit.

Not had many reboots or lagginess since on RC1. I've had it freeze up on me only once since I went back on the stock (TDM's) kernel (thank's again, Yoinx!). It's been a real workhorse for me.

I haven't been doing the nightlies since RC1, though - mostly because it's summer and I've just had too much going on.
