Root [ROM][PORT][ALPHA] MIUIv4 ICS Port | Weekly Update: 2.6.1 | Version: 0.9.0

I apologize for the double post but i was able to solve my phone app FC by formatiing my sdcard, i no longer get the close on 2.4.20 or 2.6.1 (ICS)

Also I am not able to get mOCK kernel to work with this rom
1, flash rom
2. flash kernel to over write cm9 kernel
3. reboot to system

after reboot i get a boot loop im using TWRP recovery if that has anything to do with it :/

Thats because mock is for gingerbread based miui. Just like fock os froyo

oh thanks for clearing that up, do you know if theres any plans to support 4.0 Miui? i would assume they would be working on it but i could be mistaken :/

Also are there any other kernels for 4.0 miui that you would know about? The reason i like mOCK is because it undervolts the cpu, literally doubling the battery life

If you are using Austrie's MIUI 4.0 port you should be able to undervolt the cpu using the Incredicontrol app the same way you did with the mOCK kernel. Just use the same undervolting tables as you used with the mOCK kernel and you should be good to go.
 
I want to flash to this rom, I've been on stock a while and I miss MIUI v4, but does anyone have the zip file of the miui gapps they could upload for me? The link to download in the thread on the first page is dead :(
 
I have a problem and I can't figure out how to fix it. I can make a call out to anyone and it goes through fine, but when someone calls me my phone does a forced restart a second after I answer. Has anyone else had this problem? And does anyone how to fix it?

Also, I already tried reflashing twice with a new download of the rom but it didn't fix it.

I've noticed mine does that when i have gps and wifi enabled, try turning those off and see if that stops your FC

When g60 is finished working the camera (and I know he can crack it), could the camera and all that good stuff be put into MIUI 4?

Just figured I bust ya with some humor!! :D Anyways, looking forward to this greatly!! MIUI has always been my favorite Rom to use as a daily. Nice to see so much dedication to the craft!!

You mean, it's finally getting an update? Shortly after posting about the rom's greatness, my data and wifi permanently dropped I think. It was a while ago and I'm back on some custom 2.3.7. If you managed to make it stable and find out the cause of the camera problem, I would cry (manly) tears of joy.
